Story
We rescued our dog from the shelter (mix breed) at 5 months old. We have potty trained him, taught him tricks, and is very very smart. He loves other dogs and meeting people/kids/dogs. He is a friendly dog and has a little independent streak in him. He can be very active and is incredibly fast/agile and is about to turn 5 years old with no signs of slowing. The reason for our rehome effort is that our toddler is about to turn 2 and toddlers are rough on everything. With toddlers getting older and rougher on pets/everything we want to get ahead of any bad scenario before it happens. He has shown signs that he isn't handling it well and want him to be somewhere he is happy and loved and isn't anxious around a tazmanian toddler. He will be just fine living around older children that know/understand boundaries. Does not interact well with cats.

Story
I am so fortunate to be fostering this beautiful hound mix who hopes to find a loving, forever home. Lyric is a spayed female, approximately 5 years old, 54 pounds, and up to date on all vaccines. She was rescued by the kind folks at Animal Services, but sadly was overlooked by potential adopters because she is extremely shy and had little to no love/human touch her entire life When she was rescued, her eye was bulging and painful and had to be enucleated. She is slowly adjusting to only having one eye, but will need a patient human to help her overcome this adjustment. She recently tested positive for heart worms and has started treatment, so any potential adopter would need to also be willing to see her through the entire protocol. Although her life this far has been difficult, it is extremely rewarding to witness her learn to trust again and enjoy being a happy-go-lucky pup. She interacts well with my cat and my other dogs, but I think she would LOVE being the one and only!

Story
Harlowe is a beautiful, well, actually, exquisite hound mix with one blue eye and the legs of a track star. She is recovering from heartworm treatment, so needs to be in a very quiet home (no other active pets, especially cats) for the next few months. She has proven to be an escape artist, (both crates and fences) so a secure yard or someone strong enough to keep her calm on leash walks is a must. She does great in the car, is housebroken, knows several commands and I believe eventually could have a dog companion if the personalities matched. I fell in love with this dog and that is why I rescued her and have had help from kind folks to house her during the heartworm treatment. Vet or personal reference will be required. It is time for her to have a forever home where she can eventually run and play to her hearts content. Thank you for reading her story and for caring 🐾🙏💜
