Congratulations, you just found the sweetest dog on Petfinder. Tuna was rescued from a high kill shelter. She had mange at the time and her condition meant instant death for her. Fortunately we were able to treat the mange and the subsequent staph infection, and yeast infection. Unfortunately her hair in those areas has not grown back yet and we are uncertain if it ever will. Until then she is still the cutest and sweetest dog on the planet. Tuna loves to sit next to you on the couch and have her ears rubbed. She doesn't mind cats or other dogs although she prefers her doggie friends be a little calmer too. She is completely crate trained and likes to fetch tennis balls and play tug of war. We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. Our adoption fee goes towards covering age appropriate shots, dewormer, heartworm test, rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter! Her name is Sky! She is 4.5yrs, great with kids, house trained, and plenty of energy. As a hunting dog, she will appreciate plenty space to run. When we adopted her 4 years ago, we were told she was fixed, up to date on shots, but we got duped when we asked for the papers. We got her up to date on shots, but we found out she has had heartworms for a while (Asymptomatic as of now), so fixing her is not an option at this point. She thinks she is a lap dog and loves to cuddle and show love. We are relocating and we love our Sky, but cannot take her with us. Please help!!

Kael is a 5-year-old leopard spotted male with a rare split blue on top and brown on bottom colored eyes. His nose is not fully colored either. He is not fixed and has not had shots. He is not socialized or trained. I am a 3x stroke survivor and rent a room in a house with the owners’ other dogs who have the run of the house, so Kael has had to be kept crated except for bathroom breaks in a fenced yard. I do not have the physical strength to handle him or the financial ability to send him to a trainer. He will sit on command though. My living situation will be changing soon, so I need to rehome Kael as soon as possible. His parents are on the premises if you want to see them too. He needs a knowledgeable person who has worked with this breed which can be stubborn and strong minded to unlock his potential. Very lovable, sweet disposition high energy pup. Needs to get lots of exercise, 2-3 walks a day or big fun yard time. Loves lots of toys, bones for chewing and has been working puzzles for treats. Does need lots of intellectual stimulation or starts to find things to investigate. Is learning to contain his excitement for new visitors and not jump, but he just gets so excited. He has learned no jump with owner, sit, lay and stay commands. Has experience with playing with other dogs with no issues, he just doesn’t realize his strength and size and gets excited to play.
