Hello! My name is Kiko and I`m Available through Grand Prairie Animal Services! I`m a 4 yr old Catahoula and love hanging out with other dogs. The most important fact about me is I`m a little shy but warm quickly, just be patient with me. The staff here at the shelter say they love my ears. I have low energy and will need to be able to roam in a backyard a few times a day. In the shelter I might seem shy in my kennel but once I get to know you, I will ask you for all the pets in the world. My medical history says I have some issues with an old injury but if you have questions on what it is please ask one of the empolyee`s, they can tell you more then I can. During my play groups and assessment the shelter team found that I would love a home with dogs that have my same low energy playstyle. I`m still working on trusting new people but the crew thinks I have SO much potential when adopted. I`d love to meet the whole family and my new best friend and live my best life. Come by the shelter and see if we`re the perfect match!

Arty is a sweet and goofy boy. He loves to play keep-away, and loooooves good belly rubs. He has had obedience training, and is crate trained. He does great on a leash, and loves walks and car rides. He has a really cool mohawk down his back, and is 50% rhodesian ridgeback. He has a sweet personality, and would do wonderful in a home with one other dog or less. Our home is not ideal, as he is showing signs of discomfort with our 2 children that are 3 and under. He grumbles/growls at them, and deserves to be in an environment that is less jumpy/unpredictable.
