Story
Mable is a 4 year old female Catahoula. We adopted her from the Humane Society of Utah. Due to human allergies, we need to find her a new home. She is friendly with dogs, depending on the environment and the dog. She has not been around other animals. She is very friendly with kids of all ages. She has never shown aggression towards any of us. She is spayed and chipped. She has been kenneled but is content and behaves in the home unattended. She will come with her collar, leash, bed, toys, dishes and bag of dog food. We will also pay for the chip information to be changed to her new family.

Story
Katara is a 5 month old beauty who loves being in a family setting. She is being fostered with a family of kids, dogs, and cats and she is friendly to all. She loves to learn and is super food motivated. Katara’s walks every morning expose her to new sights, sounds, and smells and she truly is curious about it all. She is a great walker on leash, constantly checks back with her family and walks smoothly with the pack, though walking with her one on one is peaceful as well. She catches on really fast, loves to be lead, is kennel trained and knows basic commands such as sit, down, come, look at me, leave it, and is learning, place, over ( in agility), stay, and a kid favorite “bang”! Katara has some fun energy, though the chickens might be a bit much for her, she has impressed her foster family with obedience and a sweet demeanor. She would be a perfect addition to just about any active home! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2024, 2:35 pm

Story
Hi there! My name is Buddy, and I’m a 5-month-old Catahoula Hound mix (though with rescue pups like me, it’s always a bit of a mystery!). I’m writing to you because I’m looking for my forever home, and I think you might be the perfect family for me. I’ve got a beautiful brindle coat with a tiny white spot on my chest, and my extra-long legs make me look both unique and adorable. My sultry eyes are always full of affection and ready to melt your heart. My coat is soft and inviting, perfect for cozy snuggles. I promise to fill your days with warmth and joy. I’m a playful and sweet puppy who loves to explore new places and enjoy playtime, but I also cherish those quiet moments for cuddling. My daily motto is: eat, sleep, play, repeat. Since I’m still young, I’m hoping to find a family who’s excited about all the fun and challenges of puppyhood. I’ll need some help with training, socialization, potty and crate training, and daily exercise to grow into a happy, well-adjusted adult dog. I know it sounds like a lot, but I’m a quick learner and eager to become the best buddy I can be. I can’t wait to explore parks, go on walks, and have fun adventures with you. I’m ready to be your loyal companion and fill your home with love and joy. Looking forward to meeting you and starting our forever adventure together! Love, Buddy Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66bf66339aceeea03a0672d7 Please email elizabethbower@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
