Story
Pahtoe is the sweetest guy who followed us home one day (for over a mile!). After weeks of looking for his owners (we can't imagine who wouldn't go looking for a guy like him!!), we haven't had any luck and are hoping to find him a new, loving home. We've put a lot of time into really setting him up for success, with hours of training and he's now neutered and up to date on all his shots! The vet thinks he's young - probably 2 to 3 years old. He's truly just a dear. He's wonderful with our other dogs, LOVES to play fetch, knows sit/stay/down/leave it/roll over (and learned it all in a few days - he's brilliant!), walks on a leash without any issues, doesn't mind a bath in the least, and would love to just cuddle on the couch with you. If you're looking for a loving, low key companion, this is your guy. We so wish we could take care of him forever, but already have many rescues of our own! Please reach out even if you live far - we want to find him a good home and would travel!

She’s loyal, affectionate, and enjoys spending quality time with her family. Whether it`s playing outside, cuddling up for a well-earned rest, or just being your loyal sidekick, Fergie will make a wonderful addition to the right home.Come meet Fergie today! She is currently located at the Yakima Humane Society Adoption Center. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal`s picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is lifesaving. Adopt Don`t Shop.
