He thrives on companionship and absolutely loves being close to his humans. If you're looking for a loving and loyal companion, Reggie is your guy! Reggie is a sweet boy who loves attention and being with his family. However, he does experience separation anxiety, which means he shouldn't be left alone for long periods of time. He would do best in a home where someone is frequently around—this makes him a great fit for someone who works from home or is retired. To help with his anxiety, Reggie would also benefit from having another dog in the home for comfort and companionship. He would also benefit from a secure, fenced yard to run and play in, rather than being in an apartment or townhome, as he may be a bit vocal when left alone. Reggie will need regular exercise, which helps manage his anxiety and keeps him healthy. He loves interactive playtime, which provides mental stimulation and strengthens the bond between you and him. Reggie loves to keep busy, and he’s happiest when given a “job” to do! Whether it’s a fun training session or simply keeping you company, he loves to be engaged. He’s also quite adorable when he “patti-cakes” with his paws to get your attention! With consistent patience and training, Reggie will learn to feel more secure when left alone. He’s incredibly loving and loyal, and in the right environment with the proper guidance, he will thrive. Reggie is well-suited for a caring home that provides companionship, structure, and gentle guidance. He needs a family that will offer him the love and support he deserves.
