Meet Phoenix.... What a cutie.... Phoenix and some siblings were surrendered to the rescue once they were not sold to a pet store. We received a call about a group of tiny cavapoos needing placement when a petstore rejected them due to them being 3/4 Cavalier and only 1/4 Mini Poodle. Pet stores want more curls on the pups so they can be more hypoallergenic and they can charge more money. We immediately jumped into action and got them booked on our transport. Phoenix is a small 10 week old female cavapoo. She definitely favors Cavalier over Poodle. We would still say she is a low shedder. I would not consider this group for anyone who has dog allergies. Phoenix is very sweet, gentle and loving. She is learning the ropes in foster and having alot of fun with the other pups and the toys provided to her. We estimate her full growth weight to be around 15ish pounds. Using a wee wee pad for potty training. He is a 50 / 50 split of Cavalier and Mini Poodle. Considered low shedding. Most people with allergies do well with this breed cross. Windjammer is very sweet, gentle and loving. Rajah, our 5-year-old Cavapoo, has been a cherished part of our family since he was a puppy. He's playful, affectionate, loves attention, and enjoys long walks. Rajah is house-trained, follows commands, prefers cuddling during the day, and sleeping in his "doggy mansion" at night. However, he has food aggression, resource guards, and he isn't comfortable around young children. Since my husband passed away, Rajah has needed more attention than I can provide. With a 2-year-old in the house, it's been challenging to manage Rajah's needs and ensure everyone's safety. Rajah and my baby cannot be in the same room unsupervised, which has become overwhelming. Rajah needs a loving, patient owner who can give him the care he deserves. An adult-only home would be ideal. Letting him go is hard, but it's the right choice for his happiness. Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without waying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $700 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. Gigi, a gorgeous, female, silver standard poodle, was rescued from a local shelter on 11/6/23, and was guesstimated to be about a year old. She weighed 41.4 pounds and was a little thin. While her coat wasn’t terrible, hair completely covered her beautiful eyes so that you couldn’t see them. After being brought up to date on vaccinations, she was groomed and it was easy to see what a gorgeous girl she is and her sweetness is every bit as spectacular as her looks. The groomer said that as she gets older her color will lighten to the color of her face, which was a beautiful silver color. The groomer said she is what is called a silver poodle. At the shelter they said she was good with everybody, dogs, cats, and people, and that definitely seems to be the case. She rides well in the car and in fact, she seems to love to ride in the car. She walks well on a leash and has not had any accidents in her foster mom’s house. She is an all-round super sweet girl. She is microchipped and was scheduled to be spayed on 11/16/23 but became ill at that time and had to be hospitalized for 8 days. All tests came back negative, but she began to get better with the administration of Prednisone. She was rail thin when she was released back to the care of her foster mom. Our vet wanted her to weigh 50 pounds before she was spayed. She finally gained the weight and was spayed and tested heartworm negative on 3/12/24. Her daily dosage of prednisone was slowly decreased to 5 mg every other day, by the end of March and she is doing fantastic. We feel she is ready to find her forever home. Gigi is located in Arkansas and her foster mom thinks she is the best. The adoption donation for Gigi is $1000 plus the $165 transport fee.
