Story
Thank you for your interest in Ruby. She is a gorgeous girl who was loved but lived a pretty sheltered life in her last home. She was born on a farm and there were a lot of dogs around. The woman of the house really loved her but wasn't able to care for her, or the other dogs, and she asked SPIN if we could help. Of course we said, "Yes!" Ruby wasn't used to living in a town, with people near by and a lot of noisy things going on. These experiences are all new and she will need time to figure out that people are nice, living in a house is great and getting groomed by a stranger isn't a bad thing.

Story
Puppies, puppies and more puppies. It's not something we thought we'd be saying at SPIN. We never imagined we'd see so many puppies coming through our rescue. We're enjoying them, but honestly, we wish there wasn't a need for puppies to come into our care. But here we are! Polly, another dog in SPIN, had puppies and four of them didn't sell. The owner asked if we could help and we said, "Yes!" and in came the most beautiful mom and puppies ever! Well, in our eyes they are perfect. Dapple is fun and has a larger than life personality.

Story
Meet Kaiser: A Sweet and Loveable Poodle/Terrier Mix Kaiser, a charming poodle/terrier mix, was rescued from the streets of Mexico and is now settling beautifully into his foster home. This approximately 5-year-old, 7.5 kg boy is an absolute sweetheart who loves everyone he meets. When he arrived, his foster mom took him to be groomed and it just show cased how handsome he is! Kaiser is a snuggle enthusiast and enjoys giving kisses and having his head rubbed for as long as you want. He's a low-maintenance dog but has his playful moments, often doing a few zoomies out of sheer joy. He gets along well with other dogs and has even been a good boy around the neighbour's cat. Kaiser is comfortable sleeping in his crate at night and has a healthy appetite. He's doing well with a leash and harness and is progressing in his house training. His foster mom notes that he's improving daily, and with a bit more guidance, he'll be fully trained in no time. We are not certain yet how he will do in a condo as he has only lived in a house environment – he may be OK if the family is willing to walk a couple of times a day, and frequent pee breaks – he has only barked when he is nervous. It is not known yet how long he can be left alone without company. As we continue to learn more about Kaiser's personality, we're confident that he'll make a fantastic addition to any family.
