Story
Yeti came home with us on our "Clear the LA Shelters" Transport - a way for us rescues up in the PNW to help make space for those pets displaced by the L.A. fires. Yeti was found as a stray in California, and now we are going to make sure he has his very best life in the PNW! Yeti IS A BIT POODLE, a bit terrier, but whatever his makeup is, it is 100% cute! He is approximately 1 year old and is only 12 lbs. Yeti has great happy energy, and got along with everyone on the transport and has fit right in with kids and the resident small dogs at his foster home! He is a sweet and happy boy, loves being around people with no apparent separation anxiety. A great walker, good eater and just an easy going dog. He doesn't bark except when excited at playtime, and has cute little noises otherwise. Yeti just loves playtime and a good puzzle! He has been sleeping well in a kennel at night, however we are sure he would prefer sleeping with his humans. Yeti is doing well on potty training and will be a fabulous addition to any family! Yeti has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccines as a part of his adoption donation. Yeti is ready to go home!

Story
Good with other dogs • Food motivated • Untested with cats and children Fan Tan is a sweet and timid little girl who is still learning to trust, but she’s making great progress. Tall and leggy, she’s a bit of a shy observer, but she enjoys treats and likes her foster dog sister, so she would do well in a home with another dog. She’s a talkative pup, often making a cute trilling sound, and while she doesn’t bark, she will let out a little howl. So far, she hasn’t had any accidents in her crate and mostly uses her puppy pads. She’s still learning about potty training, and although she’s been taken outside, she hasn’t yet pottyed outside due to the cold weather. Fan Tan had a grooming session to remove matting, which left her with very little fur, but she enjoys lounging in her doggie bed and savoring her meals. While she hasn't shown interest in toys just yet, she enjoys her mealtimes and the company of her foster dog sister. She’s still adjusting to her new environment, and once she gets settled, she sleeps through the night. She can be a bit restless at times, so giving her space for a time-out is helpful. TV seems to unsettle her—the bright images and noises can be overwhelming. Although Fan Tan is still learning to accept being held, she’s a total sweetheart and would thrive in a home with a confident dog to show her the ropes. She’s going to make a wonderful companion once she feels fully at ease!

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Frankie  from Korea and I am a special needs dog who is nearly blind with no teeth. I am a wonderful approx.8 yr old  male poodle and I weigh about 10 lbs.  I am so excited to find my new forever home.  I am a friendly boy who was saved from a Korean Puppy Farm.  I was rescued with 74 others by local activists that were shocked and cried at the conditions we were in. I was scared and only known life  in a small cage.  I know I’m not a puppy but still have many years left.  I just want a chance to be part of a family, someone to love and care for me.  Lots of us had to have our teeth removed because of the horrible things we were fed and lots of us tried to chew the bars that snapped our teeth.  I know I’m tiny and not a puppy, but I have a big heart and lots of life to live, so PLEASE give me a chance.  Korea kills estimated  1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,495 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  W e do not guarantee breed and  age.   Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail " sian@gingerspetrescue.org " for an adoption application.
