NO Appointment needed Wednesday-Sunday. Please copy the link below to schedule your appointment for Monday and Tuesday. https://foothillsanimalrescue.as.me/schedule/e47d5799.Charlie is truly one of the most remarkable dogs. He`s not only incredibly loving and gentle but also impressively quick and highly intelligent. With his Labrador energy, he’s always up for an adventure—whether it’s playing fetch for hours, going on long walks or runs, or simply watching the world go by from his favorite spot at the front window. While he can be a bit reserved at first, once he warms up, he becomes the ultimate cuddle companion. His favorite toys—his beloved cactus, alien, and throw ring—keep him entertained for hours. He also loves sleeping in his kennel, and is potty trained! He’s fantastic with kids, great with other dogs, and has never met a person he couldn’t get along with. Charlie isn’t just a pet; he’s the definition of a best friend.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Wanna add a little goose to your life? (See what we did there? ) Meet Goose, the pup who proves that even trash cans can hold hidden treasures! This handsome fella was discovered as a youngster, scavenging for snacks in the wilds of northern Arizona. Fast forward 4+ years, and Goose has transformed from a scruffy street urchin into a polished, playful pooch! He's been living the dream in a loving foster home, surrounded by doggy siblings of all shapes and sizes. He's a social butterfly (or, uh, goose?) who loves to romp and play. Plus, he's house and crate trained – talk about a well-mannered bird! Goose's breed is a bit of a mystery, but we're playing detective and think he might be a mix of retriever, chow chow, and who knows what other delightful surprises! He sports a retriever-like coat – smooth and shorter than your average chow. Basically, he's a unique blend of awesome. Goose does have a little stranger danger but, with the right boundaries of 'no touch, no talk, no eye contact' it takes him just a few moments to come around to new people. And he remembers his favorite folks after just a few meetings, and greets with eagerness and sloppy kisses. If you're looking for a fun-loving, four-legged friend to add some extra zest to your life, Goose is your guy! He's ready to spread his wings (metaphorically, of course) and find his forever flock. Could that flock be yours?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 13, 2025, 10:35 am

Story
Angelique found herself on the county’s euthanasia list when she arrived at the shelter with a large, open wound on one of her rear legs. Being in a loud, scary environment and in so much pain, she was fearful and shut down. We knew her story couldn’t end there. All she needed was proper medical attention and time to decompress. We pulled her from the shelter and took her straight to the hospital for wound care. While her leg took weeks of dressings and bandage changes, it was only a few days after leaving the shelter that our sweet girl came out of her shell and showed us just how much love she has to give. While a little shy at first, Angelique warms up quickly to new people, especially if she has a doggy friend or two to help her feel more confident, or, of course, if you tempt her with a treat! Angelique loves to watch TV by your side or play outside with toys and other dogs. Her fosters call her “perfect,” which is easy to believe because she is crate-trained, house-trained, walks well on her leash and knows basic obedience commands already! Officially ready to find her forever home, we only ask that her new family give her grace and time to decompress so she can learn her new routine in her new home. She would love a playful doggy sibling and prefers older children! We promise this angelic girl will reward you with a lifetime of the sweetest kisses and keep a smile on your face with all her silly antics! Angelique’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip.
