Story
Fergie and his siblings are alive because a kind woman would go feed their pregnant mama who was living outside near a riverbank, shortly after being born there, mum and pups were taken to safety into the SPCA PV sanctuary in Mexico. Fergie is stunning with his sleek black coat, white toes and long lean physique. Fergie was born with extra toes in his back legs, a condition that is not harmful (in fact some snow breeds were bred with them, so he was meant for a life in Canada!). Fergie arrived in BC for a 2 week "holiday" in Vancouver foster with another dog, before heading to his foster spot in Nelson, BC. He is doing so well, enjoying cuddles with his foster mum, making good progress on house training and enjoying taking in the world. He would enjoy a dog friend to play with. Fergie is also good with cats. We think he'll grow to about 55 - 60 lbs. Fergie is smart and food motivated, so learns quickly. Meet The 7 Dwarves! Sleepy is a 3 month old Lab/GSD/Collie mix, searching for her forever home. Sleepy is a lively and energetic pup who is always ready for an adventure! With a playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm, Sleepy is the perfect companion for an active family looking to add a burst of joy and excitement to their lives. This spirited little pup loves to run, jump, and explore, and she is eager to learn new tricks and games. Sleepy is at the age where training and routine are critical, so she needs the consistency, patience and love of his new guardian to show him the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must - leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training. Sleepy won't be a puppy forever, and as she grows, there are some important things to keep in mind about her breed. Sleepy is presumed to be a Lab/GSD/Collie mix, however we cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate without a DNA test.
