Story
Meet Theo, a lovable pup whose heart yearns for a forever family. Once known as 'Mambo', Theo's journey began with heartache—abandoned at the vet by his original owners after a seizure, he waited in vain for their return. He was fortunate to find a new family who cared for him, but they soon realized that Theo needs more attention and care than their current circumstances can offer. Theo’s story is marked by more than just abandonment. His previous owner had his ears cropped for reasons that remain a mystery, but despite this, Theo’s charm and affection shine through. His cropped ears might make him look a bit different, but they only add to his unique character. Theo’s heart on the other hand, is as big as his desire for companionship. He thrives on human interaction and playtime, always eager to share his boundless affection. Yet, despite his loving nature, Theo's days are marred by long stretches of loneliness, confined to a crate due to his family's demanding schedules. A Black Lab through and through, Theo needs a home where he can be cherished and included in daily life. Theo has a seizure disorder, making it essential for him to be in an environment where someone is home often. He would flourish with a family that can provide regular walks, playtime in a secure yard, and the constant attention and love he craves. Theo is both dog and kid friendly, making him a versatile companion for many types of households. Theo’s story is one of resilience and hope. He needs a special person who can offer him the love, care, and stability he’s been searching for.
