Story
Hi friends, I'm Tusk. I'm a sweet young guy who's ready for my forever home. I'm new to Albuquerque - the nice humans at Animal Humane brought me and some of my friends down from Las Vegas recently to help us find our forever families here. I've loved getting to meet new friends, and everyone tells me what a good boy I am. Before this, I was on my own, but you wouldn't know it from how friendly and agreeable I am. Plus, I'm a quick learner - I'm getting compliments for my excellent leash manners. All I want is to finally have a family to call my own. If I sound like the perfect addition to your family, I can't wait to meet you! A team member says, "Tusk is a big, sweet, fluffy boy who loves affection. He's easy to walk, and he has the absolute cutest zoomies. After he does each zoom, he makes sure to check back in with you, settling in between your legs for some pets."

I'm a real gem. An energetic, sweet girl. I'm a graduate of obedience training and know some of the basics. I love attention and am a huge fan of treats. I have played well with other dogs but would prefer a house without cats. If you have another canine buddy, bring them in to meet me to see if we're a good match! A team member notes: I spent time with Ruby in her room. She was very friendly. She immediately came up to me and sniffed me carefully all over. She loved hip scratches, and she really likes treats! She knows "sit", "down", and "shake". I enjoyed spending time with her. Five Fun Facts about your future pet: Ruby is a beautiful sweet and fun pup to be around. She isn't picky on treats you give her. She loves all the treats she can get. Ruby knows how to sit and is currently working on down. She is very treat motivated and is learning very quickly. Ruby loves people but when she first meets them she can be a little shy but with some treats and sweet talk she will love you with all of her heart. Ms.Ruby is not a huge fan of cats but has done well with some dogs and would love to meet yours to see if they can be friends! Come and say hi to Ruby and fall in love with her like we have. Give her a forever home. See you soon!

Story
Everybody loves a fruity cobbler with the golden crust on top! That describes this special guy with the golden coat and the sweetness in his personality! He is excited to get out of his kennel and ready to go for a walk to explore his environment! He would be the perfect companion to go hiking in the foothills or mountains or go jogging with you! Some new sounds may spook him (like those strange squeaky toys!) but he gets his courage back quickly and is ready to continue on his adventure. Maybe you could be the special person to experience those adventures with this guy? Come and meet him to find out! A team member says, "Cobbler is so much fun to be around. He loves to get his zoomies out, and he looks hilarious while he's doing it. Even when he's zooming around, he'll check in with you for some snuggles, then it's back to the zooms. Once he's done, he just wants to lean into you and get all the pets you can give him. He's good on a leash, and he knows how to sit for treats. He'd love a human who enjoys being outdoors and would take him along for adventures and give him plenty of affection and attention. He's a sweet, sweet boy." Another team member says, "Cobbler loves walking around with his rawhide and showing it off to his friends he sees. He loves finding a bench to jump up on and chew his rawhide, with you sitting next to him. He'd be happy staying like that for hours if he could."
