Atlas  has the gentle soul of someone who is just starting to see the good in the world, and the kindness of humans. He and his sister Hazel were rescued from a home where love was scarce and the hits too often. He is estimated to be about 4 months old. His DNA test is out for breed id.  Atlas  has blossomed beautifully in his foster home, where treats, cuddles and love are plentiful, and he is shining in his new world. His foster mom says he is energetic yet super chill and loves to run and play and gets along with other dogs and cats. He loves kids!!  Atlas  is soft, sweet and loves to cuddle!  Atlas  would thrive in a family with people who will love him and spend lots of times continuing his puppy training to be the best boy! Hazel is a four-month-old, heart-of-gold pup with a personality and soft floppy ears to die for! She is a great listener, extremely smart and stays by her person. Her beautiful soulful eyes hold some memories of a rough beginning in a home that wasn’t kind, but the love for her new life shines through and she is always so eager to tell you how grateful she is for your love. Adores lap cuddles, belly rubs, treats and learning new skills. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet your best buddy, me! I'm Perigee and I'm close to 2 years old and weigh around 40 lbs. I have beautiful brindle coloring and am listed as a lab mix, but it’s really anyone’s guess. I’m fully grown  and I’m a good medium size dog, perfect for traveling, playing, cuddling or laying about the house!   My foster mom says my best quality is how calm and sweet I am with people and kids. I live with two kids at the moment, one of which gives me lots of hugs and throws my favorite squeaky toy for me. I'm friendly to everyone and not timid. I like other dogs and love to play. I also live with a cat and am on my best behavior with him.    I’m fantastic at outings as I’m not reactive, walk well on my harness, and do well in most environments. I'm curious about the world and love seeing new things. I’m also a pro at car rides and sit politely while watching the world go by. I love being with you wherever you are and just want to be your buddy. If you do need to leave me at home I'm fine in my crate until you come back.   I’m 100% great in the house, never have any accidents. I am on the lookout for any spare food but can be content with my favorite toys instead.  I love small tuffed toys that squeak and playing fetch. I sleep well in my crate at night and while you are away. My foster thinks I would be an easy dog to take just about anywhere and do anything!   What’s the catch? I take a little more care than the average dog.    I have Mega Espophogis. That means I have to eat in a special chair (or just propped up somewhere, but the special chair helps) because my esophagus doesn't do it's job (lazy!) and I need gravity to help make sure my food gets to my stomach - otherwise I will regurgitate. The chair and the right food (dehydrated food is my fav right now) makes all the difference! I also take a couple of pills daily. My foster says it takes her about 45 minutes for each meal, but about 30 minutes of that is just me taking a nap in my chair while the food settles. She has 2 young kids and so far the feedings have not been a burden, and kids love to help!   I have been with Rescue Rovers since I was a puppy and my medications and feeding routine are very well managed. My foster will happily provide detailed instructions to make the transition easy, and I come with my chair and other supplies.    Do you think you could be the buddy I've been waiting for? I'm a beautiful girl with flawless eyeliner and contour - not to mention my gorgeous golden-red coat. I weigh about 40lbs and consider myself to be at my ideal weight. I have a look like a mini-boxer...sort of? Honestly, there's probably all kinds of things mixed up in me! And you know, mutts make the best dogs!   I am a timid and shy lady. I am so happy in my foster home - the people here are great! It's time for me to find a forever family, now. I will be shy at first, but I will learn to love you lots with a little time! A training course would definitely help us bond. I am already potty trained and crate trained, so you know I’m a smart girl! I'm also great off leash with my foster mom, but that will take time to work up to in a new home. We take walks and I get to run and play in the stream - I love that! I really like to swim, too! I also love wrestling and playing with my doggie friends!   At home, I love to look out the front window at all the things going on. I don't bark or get worked up, I just like to look out at the world. I'm a very good snuggler, once we're bonded! I’m a little over a year old and I’m here to tell you all about why I think we’d make the best team. I’m a super sweet boy with a BIG need for hugs—if you're into snuggles, I’m your guy! I hardly ever bark, so I’m not one of those loud dogs who’s going to make a ruckus. But don’t worry, when I do speak, it’s usually just to say hello to someone I’m excited to see!
