Story
Approximate Age: 1-2 years old Approximate Weight: 55.8lbs Meet Jetty! Here is what her foster has to say about her: - Jetty loves everyone great with kids, other dogs and my cat. - Walks good on a leash. - potty and crate manners are a work in progress I am heartworm positive. I will need to be treated with 28 days of doxycycline (an inexpensive antibiotic) before I receive my heartworm injections. You can still adopt me, but the cost of the treatment will become your responsibility, ODHS always recommends you contact a vet to price this treatment if you are interested in adopting me beforehand. https://www.heartwormsociety.org/ ********************************************************************* Visit our website for an application to adopt. https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-application What breed am I? Mixed mutt! ODHS does not breed label (unless there’s official paperwork), as studies show it is nearly impossible to tell the exact breed of each dog based off of their appearance. Story
Bolt is a super friendly, cuddly rescue pup. I have had him about two years and he is a wonderful companion suited for a busy household. He would thrive in a home with children. He gets along great with other dogs as I have two. He plays hard but only if a human is present so I believe he would do well in a home with no other dogs. I have had Bolt for almost 2 years now. He has separation and crate anxiety which is why I believe he needs a home with multiple people so he always has comfort, he will let you pet on him all day. He has been through multiple rounds of training so he knows basic commands and will follow them if he's not afraid. His biggest struggle is being created by anyone other than myself so a home that allows him to free roam would have the easiest transition. Zero aggression, no matter the situation. Loves to swim, recall with distractions could use some work. Favorite toy types: benebone, rope toys, plush toys (to tear up), and soccer balls.

Story
Great family dog!! Molly is a very healthy 6 year old black lab/chow chow mix. We adopted her from a private shelter when she was 13 weeks old in 2019. She is great with kids! We've had 3 babies since adopting her. She loves attention and to go for walks. She is skeptical of men she doesn't know but warms up quickly. Her most recent vet well-check was Jan 2025.
