I got tia mother I rescued her I didn’t know she was pregnant .. I rescued her from a breeding mill.. she was happy with us and there was 7 pups in the liter a month later. Frufroo is a twin I have homes all the other pups but him and his sister I still haven’t found homes for. He is and has always been scared of everthing . He will come if you call him.. but he will run if you try to pick him up. He’s a SUPER good boy and goes on puppy pads and loves getting hours baths and nails cliped.. but he’s scared of the outside and he’s scared of being lifted.. I want him to find a home he will be loved and cherished in. I can’t afford to fix him or to get him shots. He’s on a fresh salmon and farm fresh bones diet her loves to eat real food not kibble and is super healthy active and cuddly. He is HAIR not fur. He will LOVE whomever takes him home he’s an amazing boy his birthday is 8/21/22 .. he’s mostly white.. powderpuff Chinese crested purebred I’m sure you will fall in love with him !!!

Story
Oh, Nyx....where do I begin. This girl is a special one! She came to us when our vet asked us to take in a special needs puppy. Nyx was born with hydrocephalus and the breeder didn't want her so she surrendered Nyx to our vet. Her hydrocephalus doesn't affect her health in any way now but we believe it has affected her personality. Nyx is a very special girl who will need a VERY special adopter. One who is patient and calm and willing to accept Nyx for who she is! Nyx wants affection on her terms but will run from you if you try to pick her up. You have to go low and slow so she won't run from you. Nyx will HAVE to have a fenced in yard for that very reason - if she got out you probably wouldn't get her to come back to you. Nyx likes other dogs but doesn't really know how to play with them and can mean to them when she's just trying to get them to play. We think all of her quirks are a direct result of her hydrocephalus. She can be so loving, but she is definitely a quirky one! Nyx will do best with older children or a quiet household. Sparky is an older guy who just wants a good, warm lap to curl up on. He loves to lean in for pats and will readily jump onto your lap when he wants to settle in. He can be a bit head-shy with leashes and collars, but once he's leashed he's happy to walk! He also doesn't have a huge interest in food, at least not at the shelter, and can be quite picky with what he eats. A quiet home where he can decompress and roam as he pleases could improve his appetite. OTHER PETS: Sparky seems to enjoy the company of other dogs. He will initiate play but his lack of social skills means he doesn't take feedback very well. [Likely (Must Meet First)]OWNER EXPERIENCE: Sparky can be a little nervous at times, but once he comes around he'll follow right behind you! Someone who has experience with head-shy dogs or someone who is dedicated to supporting Sparky as he adjusts would be an ideal fit. [First Dog]KIDS: Sparky is uncomfortable with some types of handling and can be nervous meeting new people. He would do best with kids who can respect his space and allow him to approach when he's ready. [12+ (Must Meet First)]ACTIVITY LEVEL: Sparky would be a great companion dog! He's the perfect mix of couch potato and walking buddy-- he'll have his lazy moments where he will lay in your lap and watch tv, but he will also have moments where he gets really excited to go outside and run around. [Couch Potato / Good Walking Buddy]VETERINARY CARE: As an older dog, Sparky will need a good relationship with a vet to ensure he continues to age gracefully. At the moment he is on medication for Hypothyroidism, and will likely continue this treatment for the forseeable future. He has also tested positive for lyme disease, and may require rounds of antibiotics during flare-ups. [Above Average]LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: [Minimal]GROOMING: Routine brushing will help to decrease shedding in the home. [Minimal]January 15, 2025, 9:11 am
