Story
We found Minnie abandoned about 6 months ago. She is a very sweet and obedient dog. We were hoping to be able to keep her since no one claimed her after we filed a found-dog report, however, she came into a home with 4 cats and the cats seem to be a source of stress to her. We did take her to the vet and they estimated she is about 7+ years old and is in good health. The vet said that she seems to have been used as a breeding dog and was probably abandoned due to her old age. She is SUPER sweet and we hope to find her a family that can give her a lot of love! She is great with kids and anyone that'll give her attention and belly rubs!

Story
Roo is a male chiweenie. He is 11 years old, categorized as a senior dog but he can run, jump, and play like a young pup. He was given to me from a friend in Laytonville, California at 10 weeks old. Roo loves to cuddle, explore his surroundings, and snuggle up under any blanket he can find. His favorite place to sit or sleep is in a person's lap. He can sit, spin, and wait for a treat. However, Roo was not properly socialized as a pup, so he is aggressive towards dogs, cats, kids, and adults. He has an extensive history of biting. He has bit 1 child, 2 dogs, and 3 adults. He has attempted to bite my kid once. We attempted to rehome him with family but he ended up tearing through carpets more than once. So we have him back home. We are hoping someone with lots of patience & understanding can teach this old dog new tricks and have the skills to support his behaviors. He really is sweet with people he cares about & I hope he finds someone to give him the guidance he deserves! Thanks!

Story
I received Océano who I call pups, when he was roughly 6m, he is 2 now. At the time, I was unaware of allergies to long hair dogs. And unaware my daughter is allergic to all dogs. She suffers from many health conditions and while trying my best to keep them separated so he does not need to rehome, my best efforts have not been successful and she continues to be affected. I also work a lot and do not have time to give him the attention he is needing and my daughter can’t play with him. Oceano is an anxious, high energy dog with a big personality and a big attention seeker. He also does not like fast movements around him and will bark. He needs to go to a family that has the time, patience, and energy for him or a family with other small/medium dogs for him to play with. He loves to play catch and tug a war and will bring toys to you when he wants to play. And he loves to be close and cuddly. He is microchipped, and there is no fee for adopting, we just want him to go to a good home.
