🌼MEET DAISY! 🩷This sweet older lady is nine years old and has been in and out of our shelter for a few years now. Her owner loves Daisy but can’t seem to get her life together. Daisy is once more in our care; this time she ingested meth and will not let anyone she doesn’t trust or know handle her.💔She is mostly blind, she is spayed and cute as a bug! If you take it slow with her, she will eventually settle in your lap for a little loving. She is still not a big fan of invasive handling by strangers, but it is a start. a spay female, tan and white, 9-years-old, and 8.5 tinny pounds! - Daisy is precious girl and just needs a chance in a stable, loving environment were she can feel safe.

Meet Yogi The positives: He is a very easy to care for pet that has been my loyal companion now for the past few years. He loves going on walks, short hikes and playing with ropes and tennis balls. He sleeps soundly through the night on his little bed, only occasionally barking should he hear voices near the house. He was raised around chickens, ducks and geese. We also have two kids. Yogi will take baths/showers without a fuss although he does not really like it. Why am I re-homing him? He does not get along with one of our other dogs. The other dog is a large breed and the two have created too much stress and turmoil and I want Yogi to find a home where he is relaxed and does not feel threatened. The negatives: Yogi can be moody. If he does not want to play or be bothered, he might growl at you. Respect his space or he may nip at you. You need to be able to show him that you are the alpha -roll him on his back, and hold him down until he looks away. He is leery of strangers.

Hi! My name is Speedy and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 10 year old male Chihuahua mix who is eager for a new home! Even though I'm getting up there in age, I'm still a fun-loving pup with plenty of energy to spare. My favorite thing is to run and roll on some nice green grass! I am great for bath time and I can still keep up on your walks through the park. You would love to add me to your family if you want a handsome little friend to keep you company all day. Come meet me! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
