Scooter is a sweet, shy gentleman who’s ready to find his furever family! At 6 years old and just 23 lbs., this charming fellow is a delightful mix of Beagle, Dachshund, and Chihuahua, with unique traits that make him truly one-of-a-kind. He came to Connecticut all the way from California and cannot wait to find a loving home! He might take a little time to warm up, especially with new people, so he’s looking for a home that will offer him the patience and gentle approach he needs to feel safe and secure. While Scooter is more cautious around men, his heart is full of love just waiting to be discovered. Once you’ve earned his trust, he turns into a cuddlebug and is a big fan of belly rubs. Scooter walks gracefully on a leash and is house trained, making him a wonderful companion for someone who understands that building trust is a gradual process. He would do best in a home with older children or no kids at all, as he thrives in a calm and quiet environment. Scooter LOVES other dogs so a home with a pup would be preferred and a fenced yard would also be best so he can stay safe and secure. My name Landry means 'one who dominates the land'. Well, to be honest, I'm a little guy but by all means not a push over. I can tend to be a little bossy with other unaltered male dogs but I do start to come down a few notches and interact with them. I live in a foster home with 5 others and do very well. I'm still a youngster yet of only around a year old. I'm playful, sweet and most definitely charming. Just a look at this handsome mug and it's really really hard to say No. A total master at those 'puppy dog eyes'!!! I would do best in a home with older children 8+ and a secure fenced yard. I can tend to sometimes try to dash out the front door so precautions will need to be made so I can't do that. I'm crate trained and partially house trained. I'm doing well with my continuing training and the crating while away helps with not going in the house. I'd make a great family addition to a playful furry 'sibling' or do fabulous getting all the attention as your one and only. I've got a whole bunch of love in this 10lb body to give. Hey there, I'm Miko, your soon-to-be-best-friend! I'm an adorable pup of about 5 months that has plenty of love to give and is curious about the world. Even though I can be a bit shy at first meet, you'll quickly learn just how affectionate I can be as I love nothing more than to play and run around. Now, I should warn you, even with my smaller size, I've got plenty of energy for long walks and even tackling some of those nature trails. As a puppy, I'll need to be taught some manners but trust me, the payoff is worth it when I give you tons of kisses and snuggle up close to you. I come in at around 8lbs and should stay under 20lbs when I get myself fully growed up. I do great with people of all sizes and the other foster pups although I haven't gotten to meet any cats yet. If introduced properly at my tender age I should do well with them too! If you're ready for a playful, curious, and loveable pup like me, then fill out my application to adopt me... today! My goodness !!! If you can look past the eras there's a lot to unpack in this tiny little feisty body! First of all he's ADORABLE! He's tiny! He has a big dog personality! He only weighs about 3-4 lbs. He's approx 8 weeks old and he's in a foster home in Memphis, Tn. He is kennel trained and actively working on house training with the help of peepads . He's great with children, cats and other dogs ! If you would like to make this adorable little nugget, a part of your family, please follow the link below to our adoption application. Transport company we use leaves Memphis, Tennessee each and every Friday morning usually around 6 AM and delivering adopted pets along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185.please refrain from submitting your application until you're ready to welcome your new furry friend.
