My name is Dolly! I am 1 of 14 pups that were recently dumped on a rural dirt road with temperatures in the twenties. —Believed to be Dachshund / Chihuahua mix —5-6 months old —Currently weighs 6 lbs —Estimated to be around 10 lbs full grown —Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped —Big cuddler —In foster with both dogs and cats Here is a recap of her time in foster so far: I would say she would still be apprehensive of new dogs, but if they are accepting of her, she would be fine. She responds appropriately when my dogs grumble at her, but we avoid feeding and treat sharing situations because she is super food motivated. She will sometimes snap at my big dogs, but they totally ignore her. Sometimes I think she is playing, other times she is resource-guarding (in my lap). Regardless, she doesn't press the issue. She loves to play outside and run with the big dogs when they play ball. She is stand-offish and will bark and growl with new people, but settles quickly. Dolly will try to chase the cats, but opts to find a toy when they stand their ground and hiss at her. I do think this is play--they are just her size. She is crated at night--she screams at first, but settles down. She does scream as soon as she hears someone up in the am and won't take no for an answer. She has not had accidents overnight for about 2 weeks. She does great pottying outside, but does not ask to go out and will slip away somewhere unseen to do her business in the house if you are not paying attention. She is a cuddler--if there is no human available, then any dog will do. She has not been exposed to children, but I think she might be apprehensive. Older kids could probably be ok. Daisy is a wonderful dog. We got her as a puppy and lived in an apartment at the time. We trained her to go potty on puppy pads. When we moved to a house we carried that over. Have not tried to train her to go outside. She is full of energy and is great with my two kids and my cat. Unfortunately, we are so busy that we do not get to spend time with her. She stays in her kennel most of the day when we are gone. Trying to find a better life for her. She is located in Braselton Ga.
