Story
Raisin is a beautiful Chiweenie! She recently survived parvo! She is up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She will be spayed on December 4 and chipped. She is Birdie's mother. Raisin is great with other dogs and has been around cats. She would be great as the only dog, as long as her new owner is home a lot with her or she would also love the company of another dog. She came from a horrific hoarding situation so we have promised her it's all a bed of roses in her new home, from now on. She is not housetrained, but doing well, so far. She is very eager to learn all new things and housetraining is one of them. She is so well natured and very loving. She is a huge cuddler! Story
Welcome Micha, who comes to us from the community. Micha is a 3-year-old, approx. 10lb., Chiweenie. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Micha is very affectionate, and he walks amazingly on the leash. He is housebroken and has no issues with cats. He does, however, have issues with some men and can be selective on which men he cares for. Micha is also in need of a foster home and is currently living in boarding. He would love to find a family and a yard of his own! If you are interested in meeting this sweet guy, please reach out to us for an application.

Story
Shelly was given to me by a friend who couldn’t keep her because she had to many animals..she was 6 weeks old when I got her..she is a very calm dog for the most part..but she will bark if she hears something outside..she is a house dog she sleeps with me in my bed and loves to be under covers…she likes to play with her squeaky toys she likes the cloth ones she don’t like the rubber ones ..she eats whatever you’re eating she will beg if you ask her too ..her food now has to be chopped up because her teeth are getting bad ..she’s never had puppies and she’s been the only dog in our family so I’m not sure how she would relate to other animals..she uses doggie pads in the house but she also will go outside ..she don’t really like baths either but she does ok once you get the shampoo on her ..she is a such a sweet baby

Story
Meet Haynes, my five-year-old foster Chihuahua. This sweet boy came from a heartbreaking situation—a terrible puppy mill in Florida—where he never knew the warmth of love or the gentleness of a human touch. For the past three weeks, I've been fostering Haynes, helping him learn that not all humans are to be feared. He’s still very timid and scared, but every day, I see small signs of progress. He’s starting to trust me, little by little, and it’s such a privilege to watch his resilience unfold. While he’s not ready for snuggles just yet, I know the day will come when he’ll fully embrace the love and care he so deeply deserves. Haynes has a long road ahead, but he’s already a brave little soul. Haynes does well on a leash and enjoys leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. He’s house-trained and spends his days relaxing in his favorite spots, whether it’s his crate, nestled in the corner of the couch cushions, or tucked behind the sofa. Haynes would thrive in a calm and patient home environment, ideally one that is not too noisy. He would do well with or without other pets and could be a great match for families with older, gentle children who understand his need for space and time to adjust.

Story
Gibson recently spent time in a holiday foster home, where he showed just how sweet and adaptable he can be. He walks well on a harness without any issues and loves snuggling into blankets or anything soft. Though shy at first—often retreating under the bed when returning home—he warmed up significantly over the foster period, following the adults around the house and even starting to play with dog toys. Gibson was great with the foster's two cats, showing no aggression, growling, or attempts to bite. He's calm, sweet, and loves affection, often pawing at you for more pets if you stop. While not fully housebroken yet, he made progress and is learning quickly. Medicating him can be a bit challenging, but with patience and consistency, he could adapt over time. Gibson would thrive in a loving, adult only, home that can continue building his confidence and training while showering him with the affection he clearly adores.
