🐾 Meet Prancer! 🐾 Hello! I'm Prancer, and I might be the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. Once I find my forever person or family, I never want to leave their side, showing unwavering loyalty and affection. I'm currently flourishing in my foster home. I'm mastering both potty and crate training and making excellent progress! Although I have cerebellar hypoplasia, which means I wobble a bit when I walk and can seem uncoordinated, it just adds to my unique charm. I may be shy when meeting new people, but I warm up quickly and genuinely enjoy their company once I get to know them. I live with an adored human foster sister, which proves I'm fantastic with kids. My demeanor is calm, sweet, and gentle, and I don't get overwhelmed easily, making me a soothing companion. If you're looking for a loving, loyal friend who will fill your days with joy and your heart with love, I am the dog for you. Prancer is ready to find a loving home where he can continue to thrive and share his gentle spirit. If you can provide the perfect environment for a special dog like Prancer, don't hesitate to reach out and start your journey together! 🐶❤️ Apply here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/654e6a97aed75bda1d0b4bfe Questions? The adoption fee is $800 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Meet Princess Tiana: A Gentle Soul Looking for a Peaceful Home Princess Tiana is a delightful companion seeking a peaceful environment to call her own. This sweet girl thrives in a calm setting and would be most comfortable in a peaceful household away from city life. An apartment may not be the ideal fit for her due to some separation anxiety and a tendency to vocalize when crated. Tiana could flourish in a home with another small to medium-sized dog that has a gentle play style. During her assessment, she showed some initial insecurity around larger dogs but may open up and enjoy playful interactions in the right environment. She is tolerant of cats and has experience living with them. On leash, Tiana walks gracefully with her nose to the ground, enjoying the scents of her surroundings. She maintains a steady pace by your side or slightly behind, making her an excellent companion for leisurely evening strolls. A home with a small yard would be great so she can venture around and get her sniffs in. During her touch test, Tiana displayed a calm and unbothered demeanor. She didn’t mind being touched and even allowed being held like a baby for a photo without hesitation. This sweet temperament extends to her interactions with people, where she maintains a gentle and independent demeanor. She would do well in a home with adults or older kids that would respect her space when she needs it. With time she will sit and cuddle with you on the couch and enjoy some relaxing time at home. Princess Tiana is a loving dog who would thrive in a home with understanding adults or older children who respect her boundaries and appreciate her affectionate yet independent nature. With the right companionship and environment, Tiana promises to be a loyal and cherished member of her forever home. Email: kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Story
An itty-bitty-Pittie, Weiner Dog mix, ready to be your best friend, meet Taz! Loving, goofy, mellow and relaxed, Taz is just the cutest sweetest boy, all love and loyalty! Taz weighs in around 30 pounds, and we believe him to be a Pit Bull/Dachshund mix (yep…Pitweenie!!) around a year and a half old. Taz is, however, a rescue. His exact age and breed are unknown to us, and cannot be guaranteed. We can guarantee that Taz is 100% good boy, the most LOVING dog, and soooo cute. He stole each and every one of our hearts here at the rescue, watch his video to see the Three Little Pitties fam melt for Taz’s sweet and silly spirit. Fall in love here: https://youtu.be/Q-EInps3Ww0?si=ssvExifehMUs15Kk Taz is such a charmer, with a big goofy smile, and his cute lil face! This boy loves belly rubs, treats, kisses, hugs and all things “human”! Taz warms up to new humans SO quickly. He’s a people-loving dog that just wants to be held, pet and snuggled. I’m so sure that it will be love at first sight when he meets his forever family. Taz already has good house manners, and he’s great at meeting strangers on leash- no barking, pulling, or lunging. Taz was cat tested here at the rescue, and he got along just fine with our house cat, Tom! He’s not playful with cats, he’s just happy to coexist with them. With other dogs, Taz is a perfect little gentleman. He wasn’t too interested in playing with our BIG beefy pittie mixes here at the rescue, but he did just fine greeting them. Taz has spent most of his time at the rescue with us getting love from any and all humans around. When other dogs attempt to slip into the mix for a little affection of their own, Taz is understanding, makes way and shares the love. No bullying, growling or snapping from this sweet little angel boy. In the car, Taz is calm, collected and confident. This boy is a superstar on long drives, showing no signs of car sickness, and refraining from roaming, barking or reacting. He’s such a good boy. Taz would do wonderfully in just about any home, he’s a go with the flow kind of guy, cat and dog friendly. He seems to enjoy calmer settings, and may do best in a calm and quiet household. Taz would love to be your best buddy. He kindly asks that you take him on the occasional outing, invest in his socialization, allow him to trot after you through the house, and snuggle up on the couch with him as often as possible! Taz will make an excellent addition to your pack, or thrive as a solo dog. He’s SO loving, and looking forward to falling in love with his forever family. Taz is a one-of-a-kind magic dog. His love will make you smile on even your gloomiest of days. Taz is such a loving and sweet good dog, with a wonderful personality, and an excitement for each and every new friend that will surely bring joy to your life. If this boy is the sweet little angel dog you’ve been waiting for, put in an application today. We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. 🐾 Please email: Katiak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions.
