Attention all coffee lovers, meet Mocha! This sweet senior loves all people- adults and kids alike. Although she`s an older gal, she still has a lot of pep in her step! Mocha did well when meeting to her dogs in playgroup, and was very tolerant of the other dogs. Mocha walks well on a leash, is housebroken, and is trustworthy when left home alone. If you`re looking for a mellow senior to cuddle up with, Mocha is the dog for you! No small dogs or cats please!

Story
Roxy is a senior pooch who came to PACC in very bad shape, needing a medical groom to remove painful matting in her fur. Nowadays she’s bald and beautiful (except for what can only be described as a very unfortunate bowl cut on her head). Her new fluffy coat is coming in more and more each day. Roxy lived in her last home for two years before coming to the shelter and was reportedly housebroken and well- behaved when left home alone. Her former person described her as an independent lady. Roxy would love to find a breed savvy family who can give an old lady a quiet, peaceful retirement home. Roxy has been tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Roxy today!!

Story
Gotti is a very sweet boy who has faced some challenges in his life. He has arthritis at a very young age due to previous bone fractures. He takes medications for his joint pain, but the shelter isn’t an ideal place for him. We’d love to find him a home where he can have a soft and cozy place to relax! Here’s what one volunteer said:“Gotti is a funny, spunky little guy. Easy to leash up and easy to handle. In the play yard he liked to wander the yard and sniff around. He shared the yard nicely with his kennelmate; they did play a little, but mostly each did their own thing in the yard. He gets around very well despite his back legs and surprised me by jumping up on the bench and trying to climb in my lap. He allowed some petting but kept running off to check things out in the yard. Gotti is a cute, fun boy and I enjoyed my time with him.”Gotti shares his kennel politely and might enjoy a furry friend in his future home. Please ask how you can help Gotti today!

Story
Contrary to his name, our Captain Hook has four perfect paws without a hook in sight. Which is good, because walking on a hook would be challenging for a dog!! In the Disney movie, Captain Hook was always looking for Peter Pan’s lair- our Captain Hook just wants to find a lair of his own- a home with a patient and loving family who will help him build confidence. Captain Hook came to the shelter as a stray and is a shy, sensitive boy. He needs some extra help with socialization, decompression, and just learning how to dog. He’s shared his kennel politely and mostly kept to himself and explored when taken to playgroup with other PACC dogs. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit, though he would likely benefit from having a calm, confident doggy friend to show him the ropes in a home environment. Please ask about Captain Hook today!!
