Story
Meet Diva!!
Hello everyone, my name is Diva. I'm a beautiful lady with quite the story to tell. I'm a beautiful adult lady, weighing about 65 pounds, and just recently had my yucky eyes taken out. As you can see, I can't see. Despite my past, I have a positive outlook on life. There’s no "the grass is greener on the other side." As long as there’s grass to explore, yummy treats, and lots of love to go around, I am happy as a bee in a field of wildflowers. Although it may not look like it quite yet, my lovely maine will need to be tamed as it grows in. I would thrive in a slow paced environment where the daily schedule only consists of treat breaks, snuggles, treat breaks, naps, and potty breaks. I'd prefer if you ran errands without me, as going in and out of the car isn’t my most favorite activity. But I don’t mind holding down the fort while someone is gone, and I don't even need a crate! I would love it if my forever family allowed furry friends to cuddle on the furniture. I can be a bit of a spunky girl, but typically I'm pretty chill and will find a comfy spot on the chair or the couch. Who needs eyes to do that or sniff out a tasty treat??
I don't mind spending time with other furry friends and would much prefer a companion that was more my pace. If I'm feeling adventurous, I may give the family cat a good sniff and even a chase. I would do best in a home with older children who can respect my space while being able to help me navigate my new environment. I'm a quick learner and can adapt to a new environment as long as it has my favorite things: friends, friends who cuddle, and friends who provide tasty treats. Are you ready to see if I am your perfect match? All you have to do is swipe right!! (Well it’s a little bit more than that, but I'm worth it!)
