Story
Honey is a sweet girl, but a typical chow that needs a chow savvy home that will understand her quirks. She is not particularly enthused by meeting small children and wants to chase small dogs and cats, so we see her going to a home that best suits her. Adult only home with larger dogs. She needs to go to a home with someone that will be physically able to handle her because she loves to go on walks and run around in the yard. If she sees a squirrel or small animal she will try to pull, so she does need some additional training with that. She will make someone a really great dog, because she does listen well and wants to be loved. She has recently been shaved down by previous foster as seen in the picture, but her coat will fill in soon. She originally came from a homeless lady that had to give her up because she could not properly take care of her. She did teach her manners and how to be social with humans and we are greatful for that. She does not meet a stranger and will give kisses shortly after you meet her.

Story
Bear is a senior chow in need of a loving home. He just lost his dad and his mom is not physically able to take care of him. She has had him around other dogs and cats and he did well. He is not fond of small children, so needs to go to a mature adult home only. He will be shy when meeting you at first but will warm up eventually. His world was just turned upside down and left the only home he has known so he will need a chow savvy doggy mom or dad that will show him love and patience.

Story
We got a call on a very cold night stating that an elderly lady needed to surrender her senior dog that was living outside in a kennel. We stepped up to the plate and took him in our rescue. This old guy needs to live the very best life in his last years. Adopting a senior is very rewarding.
