Story
Meet Rowan! He's ready for his forever home but needs a foster placement first! Rowan's favorite activities include chasing squirrels, playing with toys, pulling out fluff, and rubbing his head and back under your legs—especially when he's nervous. - 3-year-old red male, 75 lbs - Chow experience required - No young children or older folks; he can be mouthy and nippy during playtime - Other dogs are fine as long as they are tolerant of his playful nature - No cats; fenced yard needed; best with a private space to roam rather than leash walks for potty time - Continued training on social skills and mouthiness during play is essential **Rowan is located near Houston, TX. Paid transport can be arranged. Transport costs range from $200-400.** If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application @ https://form.jotform.us/41173109602142. Story
This sweet, affectionate, and playful Chow loves to be by your side, preferably touching you at all times. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, going for long walks, or romping around in the snow, Pluto is all about quality time with his person. While Pluto is thriving in his foster home, he’s still working through separation anxiety. He’s not a fan of the crate and has been known to jump baby gates. But with the help of time, a loving routine, and the comfort of his foster pack, he’s making great progress and settling in beautifully. Pluto is great with dogs of all sizes, walks well on a leash, and is the ultimate cuddle bug. He needs a home where he won’t be left alone for long—ideally with another dog or a human who’s around often. If you’re looking for a devoted, loving, and ridiculously cute companion, Pluto is ready to couple up for life! **Pluto is located in Friendswood, TX. Paid transport can be arranged. Transport costs range from $200-400.** If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application @ https://form.jotform.us/41173109602142. Story
If you would like more information about Coco or are interested in adopting her, please send an email to elizabeth.campbell92@yahoo.com I found Coco at an abandoned house in spring 2023. I had nowhere to take her, so I continued to visit and feed and water her until I had built a shed with a fenced yard. Coco is fixed and up to date on all vaccines. She is heartworm negative. A neighbor of the abandoned house informed me that Coco had been a street dog all her life. She is amazingly friendly and sweet though. She’s a senior girl but she still has A LOT of spunk. Coco is very playful and very loving. She has a hilarious looking underbite and makes the best facial expressions. Her teeth are mostly worn down from her tough life. She has a very thick coat and sheds like the dickens. Her “shake” is like a volleyball spike and she’s ready to show you. I would keep this dog if I could. Coco is a very good girl all around. A cuddle bug. She loves treats. This animal posted is not under the care, custody, or control of Friends For Life and shall at no time be considered the property of Friends For Life.
