All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, January 25th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.     Adoption Fee: $800   Kisses is a 3 year old Cockapoo who is ready to celebrate the season of love with her forever humans! Kisses was rescued from the shelter as a matted lump of hair in desperate need of a groom and some TLC. We got her to the groomer and after several baths and a good haircut, we finally got to see the petite gal underneath her former dirty coat. Kisses weighs 10 pounds and is absolutely gorgeous. She has a non-shedding coat and will be an option for homes with allergies, or who want less hair around the house. If you’ve been longing for love, come and try a blind date with Kisses!      Like her namesake would suggest, Kisses loves being showered in love that she promises to give back by the bucketful! Kisses made herself comfortable right away in her foster mom and adores her numerous soft blankets and beds. This diva is ready to live her most luxurious life after her makeover and we can’t wait to see her shine. Kisses enjoys her daily walks but she is a total couch potato who would be happy to cuddle the day away on the couch. She would be a great companion for someone who works from home or who wants a buddy to run errands with as she is very lowkey. Kisses is very smart and food motivated so we expect she will stun the world with her tricks in no time! Her fosters absolutely rave about her and we know this girl will be a popular pup wherever she lands! Kisses also rocks a bandana or a sweater and would love to find a home where she can add to her wardrobe. She can’t wait to strut down the street with the knowledge that she is the cutest and most fashionable lady on the block!  Kisses wakes up between 7 and 7:30 ready to start another day of being an adorable pup! She has her breakfast and then goes outside into the yard for potty time. In the morning and early afternoon, she spends her time lounging and relaxing on one of her numerous dog beds she has spread around her palace. She also gets some yummy snacks. She goes on a walk in the afternoon and is always happy to sniff around and greet her neighbors. She has her dinner around 5:30 PM before she settles down to unwind from the day. Bedtime is at 10 PM. Kisses lives with a similarly sized dog and they coexist well. She can be a little shy when she first meets new people but once she is comfortable she is ready to rock and roll. Kisses walks very well on a leash. She is crate trained. Interested homes should be prepared to discuss plans for continued coat maintenance and grooming. Ready for love?
