Story
Meet Bailey! This little cutie came to us after her previous owner was no longer able to care for her. She is a sweet little gal who LOVES attention. At 13 years old, Bailey still has a lot of spunk to her and can be a little bouncy ball of excitement when she sees her friends. Like a lot of dogs Bailey's age, she does have some medical conditions that will need to be monitored and cared for in her retirement home. During our adoption process our medical director will discuss these conditions and what Bailey's exact needs are!

Story
Poundcake is a shy girl still trying to figure out how the world works. She's still a puppy at only nine months old so you should anticipate all of the things that come with owning a puppy: house training, chewing, obedience training, wild zoomies, etc. She's a cockapoo and weighs about 18lbs right now but shouldn't get MUCH bigger. The shelter is a little overwhelming for her, which is understandable. She's a sweet girl, she's just scared of life at the moment. We think that, given proper time to adjust, she would be fine with other dogs or cats and with older kids. You just need to have the time and the patience to invest into her to reap the reward of her blooming into herself once she gains some confidence.

Story
She has moderate isolation anxiety. Not destructive, but whimpers & paws at the door when left alone. She needs desensitized training & not left alone until she’s able to handle it. She’s the sweetest and most loving puppy. She’s smart, heels, good recall and brings the ball back, potty trained with a bell, and loves snuggling. Great personality. Only apply if you’re: An experienced dog owner, family of 2 or more that work from home/retired, will continue her anxiety meds (they’ve helped a lot), as well as her training & will hire sitters when you’re out. This is the only way she’ll get better and be able to be alone. Ideally someone who is educated with separation anxiety. Please don’t apply if you don’t have those requirements. I won’t accept it. I’m only allowed 20 applications. I love her so much. I am so sad, but I can’t afford her anymore. I can transfer her health insurance as well. I paid $4k for her less than a year ago. She’s a 12lb mini Australian Cobberdog. 13 months

Story
I got Kylo Jan 2020 while I was living in WA, so he is a COVID dog. He was from a breeder up in Idaho. His birthday is Nov. 13, 2019, so he just turned 5. I would describe Kylo as a very loyal, protective and vocal dog. He loves his cuddles! He's been an apartment dog since I got him, so he doesn't require tons of exercise and i partially think he prefers it that way He is crate trained and is fairly well housetrained. There are two sides of Kylo: 1) the side where you have no idea where he is because he's quiet and 2) the side where he barks and is quite loud. Most of the time you have no idea he is home, and he doesn't require much attention, but when he hears random noises that are unfamiliar to him, he will make his presence known by barking He really is sweet and has a good heart but he is very vocal at times. When he meets new people or dogs, he will be very hesitant at first and bark but once you've made the good list, he will protect you will his life and expect cuddles
