Story
Harlem is my foster dog. He is a Cocker-Doodle. His owner had him since puppyhood, but when she lost her job she had to let him go. He’s staying with me temporarily while I look for his new family. It took him a couple of days to learn to trust me, but since then he’s been a great house guest! Very well behaved, non-destructive, can be left home alone. He is goofy, friendly, cheerful and loves attention. He likes to carry his toys around and he loves to go for walks. He would probably do well with older children who can go slow and get to know him for those first couple of days. His only behavioral problem is that you CANNOT give him high value treats. Regular cookies are fine, but no chicken, cheese or meat. He gets very territorial. Please keep in mind that he has lots of fur and will need regular grooming. He is 5 years old, and weighs about 35 pounds.
