Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The call was put out for the need from commercial breeders who needed some of their dogs gone, at a cost of course in the middle of Omaha. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. But despite where they lived i& were going to be used to make money off their backs, they were all the most precious bundles of joy. Her life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. She was one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued Lady & 15 other baby dolls. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Lady how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as she is in her foster home. Lady & her friends were bought back to the WA state where she is now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Lady is so stunning to look at & she looks right at you with such love her foster mum said. She will stare at you as if she is staring into your soul. She saiid she is the life of the party but can also be a peacemaker if her foster siblings become a little naughty. She loves every dog & they love her. She said wherever you are lady wants to be & is so very spirited & lovely. Instantly when she went into her foster home it was as if she had always been there & part of the pack. She will talk to her foster mum she said when she wants her attention or wants something from her. She will also be happy to play with her foster siblings & loves to chase the other dogs. In her foster home she goes on material potty pads. For everything she has been through her foster mum said she is a sweetheart. Lady her foster mum said is so affectionate & jumps at you to pick her up & give her love & kisses & hugs. She adores being carried & given love. Her foster mum said she has a huge personality & will let it be known she is there & will let you know what she wants. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding she can snuggle up in, a roof over head that’s not outside. Lady is a wonderful eater & is not shy about eating. She eats clean in her foster home, meaning she eats grains, fruits & vegetables & many healthy proteins along with supplements. She is good with her baths & being dried by the hairdryer & very tolerant. She adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. She will bark at her foster family to pick her up & put her on the bed to sleep with them. She is such a fun puppy who just wants to be loved & to make up for her past. She loves everyone. She would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash. She is a puppy & we have not taken her out anywhere. She does not discriminate against breeds. She has always been with other dogs & she adores other dogs & they make her feel comfortable & confident. Lady rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when she went to be sold & when we got her & going home with her foster family & to & from the vets. It’s still all new to her though. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Lady as you can imagine spent the first part of her life in a caged environment. She loses her mind if she is put into a crate & goes nuts wanting out. Who could blame her? She is losing her puppy fuz & getting her adult fur in. We are also looking for a forever home for Lady where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Lady is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Lady has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in her foster home & she is currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. She absolutely must go to a forever home with a dog or dog’s present in the home roughly the same size for her to thrive in. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take her to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Lady is roughly 14.5 lbs & she is 7 months old & ‭a cockapoo‬. She has put on weight since being in her loving foster home. What she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets, microchipped, received her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Lady with paying for her from a commercial breeder. Bringing her to WA with her travel/flight costs, her transportation to WA. All of her medical care in WA etc & bringing her to WA then her adoption fee comes close to covering. Her adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on Lady. Lady has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not her around small children so we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Lady was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Lady friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Lady potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Lady & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or Zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Lady who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Lady has an adoption fee of $1250 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 4 year old 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care.    Foster Update: Ramen is a cool little cup of noodles! He has been a quick study in foster care and is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. He loves to work and train and is very smart. He catches on to new commands quickly. Ramen would do best in an adult only household, as it takes him time to warm up to strangers and he is more trusting of female companions. He has showed a little resource guarding when it comes to removing high value toys from his possession, but his trainer is working on tackling that behavior. Animal Profile: Dolly was surrendered to our rescue partners in San Bernardino after her owner was sited for having too many dogs on their property. She is friendly with people and other dogs, and did well for vetting and grooming appointments. We look forward to helping her find a family in the PNW! Foster Update:  This little pup is about 8lbs of complete sweetness!  Dolly  is gentle, a bit timid but getting bolder and more confident every day.  For  Dolly , house training has not been an issue.  We are consistent with trips to the yard and use of the crate. We have had near perfection!  Additionally, she does well in the crate. While she isn’t a huge fan, she settles down quickly and sleeps quietly in it each night.  She has been successful around my dog savvy, 5 year old grandson but is definitely skittish and avoids more than interacts with him. At this point, since sudden movements and loud noises are bothersome, I would not recommend families with toddlers or children under 8. A canone companion might help  Dolly  adapt more quickly to a new family. She bonded almost immediately with my golden retriever and tends to follow him wherever he goes.    Dolly  is doing well on leash however loud noises and “surprise” activity tends to startle her. Each walk she becomes a little more comfortable in her surroundings and at ease with the process. Time and continued exposure will most certainly resolve her concerns and allow her to thoroughly enjoy these outings.   When  Dolly  isn’t hanging out with the golden, she is truly happy sitting next to me on the couch or lying on a blanket at my feet.  I know she will provide a lot of company for her new family and bring many smiles to their faces. Who doesn’t love a little dog who “dances” for treats? Animal Profile: Khan was surrendered to our rescue partners in San Bernardino after they were cited for having too many dogs on their property. He is friendly with people and other dogs, and did well for vetting and grooming appointments. Khan had to have 18 teeth pulled when the vet discovered they were in terrible shape. He is eating and drinking well, and this should not affect his health in the long run. We look forward to helping him find a family in the PNW! Foster Update: Khan is a pretty chill little guy that loves his crate, snuggling up once he gets to know you, and being a part of his foster family's day-to-day lives. Khan has taken a liking to the little girl in his foster family, and is happy to be held and petted by her. He is a little wary of the adult male Husky in the home, but there have not been any problems between them. Khan was recently neutered, and showed interest in marking several times since his arrival. He was easy to stop, but is currently wearing a belly band until the urge subsides. Khan is a sweet little guy that will make a wonderful companion for one lucky family.
