Story
Looks like: Spaniel mix Male, 5 years old (estimated), 16 pounds Bonded to Marlin Marlin found Nemo! And we are so excited to have these two handsome boys in our program! This bonded pair does well with other dogs, but they really only focus on one another. Marlin and Nemo came to us a few days apart, and their reunion was one for the books! These boys instantly remembered one another from their former days living together and lit up with delight! They are now searching for their forever home together. Marlin may be a bit shy at first, but as soon as he gets a feel for his surroundings, he is an absolute love bug! He seems to appreciate the company of his pal Nemo over human companions. Nemo on the other hand is his outgoing, extroverted and friendly counterpart. He loves making new friends, both human and canine alike. Nemo and Marlin joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Shelter after they were found together as strays.

Story

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $750   Lauren is a 4 year old Cocker Spaniel mix who is ready to leap into your heart and be your new best friend! Lauren was surrendered to DPS after her former owner passed away. Nobody in the family was willing to take Lauren, so we stepped in and agreed to find her the best forever home. Lauren has a soft coat matched with a sunny personality. She doesn’t let anything get her down and we promised her that her forever home would be picture perfect! If you are ready for a forever companion, bring home Lauren today!    Lauren is a friendly and lovable girl who has a heart of pure gold. She is ready to find her forever home so she can loyally follow them wherever they go. She loves snuggles and cuddles but she is also able to keep herself occupied when she needs to. Lauren is super smart, and already has several tricks in her routine (come, sit, let’s go). Lauren has shiny and beautiful hair and loves being brushed out. This gal knows what a model she is. Lauren would love to rest her head on your lap as you cuddle her for an afternoon of love. Lauren is happy to go on several romps during the day but can also happily catch up on her tv shows on a hot day. Lauren would love a home who wants to shower her in the adoration she deserves. She won’t require regular grooming but does love a good brushing. She’s basically the perfect and most adorable gal in the entire world. A true rescue favorite, she wins everyone she meets over almost instantly. As long as you have arms to cuddle her and a cabinet full of treats, she will be your faithful friend for life. Lauren starts her morning around 6 AM after snoozing the night away on the couch. She loves her morning belly rubs and stretches before heading outside for potty time. She has her breakfast followed by her morning walk, sniffing her way down the block as she greets her canine and human neighbors. Lauren is a great WFH companion as she spends most of her day snoozing around the house in between soaking up her cuddles and scratches. In the evening, Lauren gets a longer walk where she goes to the park and rolls around in the fresh grass. She enjoys her dinner upon her return and then gets another long cuddle session. This girl loves her pets and cuddles, and it’s hard to resist her cute face. After dinner, she gets into her relaxation zone and starts to settle in for the night. She gets one last evening romp and then curls up on the couch for her rest.  Lauren gets along with other dogs as long as she has a proper introduction. She will likely need some additional socialization and training. Lauren is house trained and has not had any accidents. She walks well on a leash and happily explores the world outside her door. Lauren can’t wait to find a home where she will find love and comfort. What are you waiting for? Adopt Lauren today!     Lauren is an option for any home as long as they have some prior dog experience. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.August 19, 2024, 11:27 am
