Story
Molly is a sweet, energetic, and playful senior girl (11 years old) who needs a loving home, ideally with someone who works from home and/or spends a lot of time at home. She likes to take short walks outside, play with her bone indoors, and gets along well with other dogs. Sadly, Molly needs to be re-homed due to an upcoming move and downsizing from a single family home to an apartment following my spouse’s passing.

If you look up the word "adorable" in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of this whole litter! Sure, they are cute, but they are just as sweet! These puppies are in our jail program where female trustees care for puppies while we get them vetted and adopted into wonderful homes. The program is great for socializing pups and beginning their training. We believe the pups are Cocker/Pug mixes and will be small, but we KNOW they will be a great addition to any family. If you'd like to adopt one of these cuties please fill out our application at www.goofyfootrescue.org

Story
Meet Benji, a handsome 4 year old Cocker Spaniel. The last photo shows Benji's awesome winter coat, but he is currently sporting a little more comfortable summer trim. Benji craves attention and readily earns it. He is a social butterfly, friendly with everyone…humans, cats, dogs. He is a social schmoozer with all species! These are a few of his favorite things...He loves to play with tennis balls, loves tug toys, and has a great appetite. Benji’s “go to” position is SIT whenever a treat is involved. But at the top of Benji’s list of greatest joys is belly rubs, cuddling and snuggling. Benji sleeps through the night, currently snuggling in his foster mom’s bed (thus displacing his friend Boaz the cat!) He is working on potty training and is doing well. Benji is a happy pup, as evidenced by his constantly wagging nubby tail and an occasional happy snort. Benji will be a dear friend and forever companion to his lucky new family. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30. If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application directly to our website at www.ny-petrescue.org. Only applications submitted directly to Petrescue will be considered.

Story
Clover (Buddy) is a gorgeous 2 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel/Shi tzu mix who needs a new forever home! He also responds to the name “Buddy”.Clover just loves a nice long walk with a person he loves. He is a curious boy and enjoys sightseeing during his walks.Clover attaches quickly to one person and is fearful of those he doesn’t know. He has shown some protectiveness over his previous owner. We recommend he be the only pet in the home.Clover lights up when it’s time to play! He has a blast playing with his toys and can be protective of them as well. A potential adopter would need to visit several times in order to win his trust and get to know him. This pup has so much potential if given the time and patience that he needs. An adopter would need to commit to working with a trainer as needed to help him build his confidence and learn to trust others. Due to his special needs, we are only seeking a local adopter who lives in a single family home.Clover is neutered, microchipped, heart worm free, approximately 30 pounds, and up to date on all vaccines. If you’d like to meet this handsome boy, please email adopt@bobbicares.org to arrange a visit appointment. All of our adoptions are local only.
