Story
This is Marley. His birthday is October 5th. He is almost two years old. He is a chocolate full bred cocker spaniel with papers. He’s very loving and energetic. Gets along well with children and cats. He has not been around dogs or other animals. He is not fully up to date with his vaccinations but has gotten his first set. He needs a loving home that can provide him with more time than we have. Preferably one with a yard that he can run around in. He is an inside pup but enjoys long walks and play.

Story
Any potential adopter, please read thoroughly: Duchess is a sweet and loving cocker spaniel mixed pup who melts hearts with her big brown eyes and silky soft fur. She's a bit of a firecracker, though - this headstrong, 7 month old, little girl knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it. But don't worry - she just needs guidance and boundaries to help her grow into a well-behaved adult dog. *Her needs:* * A family who will spend lots of time with her, as she thrives on attention and interaction * Guidance and consistency with potty training, as she's still learning the ropes * A safe and secure space to play and exercise, as she's full of energy and loves to run around * A crate or designated area to keep her safe when left alone, as she can be prone to chewing if left unsupervised * Positive reinforcement training, as she's food-motivated and eager to please *Her likes:* * Playing fetch and chasing after toys * Snuggling up for cuddles and snoozles * Going on adventures with her favorite humans * Getting treats and praise for good behavior * Learning new tricks and commands *Having other pups to play with - she loves a good game of chase and tug of war. *Her dislikes:* * Being left alone for long periods of time without supervision * Being scolded or punished for mistakes - Duchess responds best to positive reinforcement *Being approached too quickly - she will pee from fear. *Her special talents:* * Duchess is a quick learner and picks up new skills in no time * She's a master snuggler and loves to burrow under blankets for cozy cuddles * She's got a wagging nub that never stops moving when she's happy *She's undeniably the cutest pup you've ever seen Duchess is a very special puppy but needs exactly the right home where she can thrive!! Please read and re-read above and if you feel your family is the perfect fit for her then please apply to adopt her!! Local adoption fee is $400 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $750 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Our family dog banyan was the unofficial first child of our family. We has been our companion for almost 6 years after he was adopted in Los Angeles. We have moved around for work quite a bit and now we are doing a major international move at the end of the year and we are unable to take him with us. He is a very loving dog who likes to sleep at the end of the bed. Really all he wants to do is be around us. He’s house trained and well potty trained, only going twice a day outside. He likes to wander a bit on his leash, everything is a new adventure for him. He does bark when the doorbell rings and he is a bit nervous when meeting new people in our house. However, in a neutral location he is very friendly with everyone, and after meeting someone once he is always excited to see them again. He is good with other dogs as he has been going to a good daycare once every two weeks like clockwork. He is well liked by all the staff.

Story
Charlie is five years old and is a lovable, goofy, hyper full bred cocker spaniel who loves to be outside to play and hike. He has the ability to climb rocks and swim well. He can be off the leash in the yard and in the woods, he always comes back or stays by your side. Very loyal and loves to cuddle on the couch. He can do a few tricks: handshake and high five, along with the basic commands sit, stay, lay down, and eat. He is potty trained. Very people friendly (kids included). He is not dog aggressive but needs to eat separately from other pets. He is a little picky with food. He is a fantastic dog but sadly I can no longer afford to keep him. His grooming which needs to be done roughly every 2 months can be costly along with food and his vet needs such as Cherry eye surgery. I can provide extra pictures with and without Cherry eye if needed. I am looking for someone who has a lot of time and money to give him the best life possible. He is a true gem of a dog.

Story
Comet is a cocker spaniel born May 16th 2016. He belonged to my mother who recently passed away and I'm unfortunately unable to keep him due to finances and the fact that he doesn't get along with my dogs. Comet is a sweet and very playful dog who is toy-obsessed and loves lap cuddles. He's a dog who wants to be by your side at all times. He's prone to ear infections and allergy related skin issues so he's on a prescription diet to help with that. Comet injured his back legs playing a few years ago so he takes an anti-inflammatory as needed because his legs can get a bit sore and stiff when it's cold or if he runs for too long. He lacks socialization with small children and other animals like cats so it's unclear how he'd react to them and he needs basic behavioral training but is eager to please and would do well with an experienced and patient owner that has the resources and extra time needed to train him properly.

Story
Dakota’s foster mom wants everyone to know that this merle/chocolate, fluffy, and super-soft cocker spaniel mix is a bundle of joy wrapped in fur. At about 5 years old, Dakota is a neutered male who is up to date on all his vaccinations. He’s a cheerful companion that finds joy in simple pleasures like leisurely walks, car rides, cuddle sessions, and playful antics with his favorite squeaky toy affectionately referred to as his 'baby.' Dakota forms strong bonds and can become quite clingy, making him an ideal companion for someone who spends a lot of time at home, such as a retiree or someone who works from home. His need for a close companion stems from his insecurities, which also means he's better off as the only dog in his new home. This setting will provide him with the calm and stable environment he needs to thrive. Given his personality and needs, Dakota would fit best in a home without young children and as the only dog. As Dakota continues to blossom under the care of his foster family, he’s showing great progress with potty training, though he’ll need a patient and understanding adopter willing to continue guiding him towards perfection. His dietary needs are specific but easy to manage, thriving on a mix of wet and dry food. Weighing in at around 30 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-sized companion with a heart as big as his smile. Dakota has been working closely with a trainer to navigate through some attachment issues, revealing that he’s a dog with a lot of love to give, but one who also requires the comfort and security of having his people nearby. This means Dakota is looking for a home where someone is present more often than not, as he tends to get anxious when left alone. He’s not a fan of crates, but he’s shown to be well-behaved when having access to spaces like the living room and kitchen in his foster home. His early experiences, marked by extended periods in a kennel, led him to gnaw his little teeth in a bid for freedom. Since finding sanctuary with his foster family, Dakota has not seen the inside of a kennel and has shown tremendous progress, adapting well to the warmth and comfort of a loving home. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fluffy friend who will make every day brighter, Dakota could be the perfect addition to your home. His journey hasn’t been the easiest, but with the right companion, Dakota is ready to start a new chapter filled with love, walks, and plenty of squeaky toy adventures.
