Story
I got sweet Ruthie as a puppy and have enjoyed the last four years with her. Unfortunately my life circumstances have changed considerably since then, and I no longer have the financial stability to care for her properly due to health issues and job loss. This is really hard to do and I’m hoping to find someone that understands and loves hounds, and ideally has some space for her to run and be her happiest self. Ruth grew up into a pretty chill pup. She generally sleeps in late, and is happiest underneath blankets or lazing in a good sun spot. Once she is into her routine, she has a good off switch as long as she gets 2-3 walks per day and some mental stimulation and play time. She is often left alone for 4-5 hours, and has done up to 6. She has no destructive tendencies and low separation anxiety. Looking for someone with more experience with dogs, confidence with handling, and who understands hounds and the kind of management they need.
