Scarlett is a big, goofy coonhound mix who landed at PK after being picked up as a stray. She is young – probably around 1 year old – and weighs 58 lbs. She may fill out more with age. Scarlett still has a lot of puppy left in her; she is bouncy, a bit mouthy, and very energetic! She is strong on the leash and will need help learning leash manners, but she is eager to please. Scarlett is friendly and affectionate and would do well with an active family who can help her burn of off that young dog energy! As a large dog, she would also benefit from formal training to help her to be the best girl possible around others. Scarlett would be open to meeting other dogs if you have them in the home. We can cat-test her upon request.
