Story
Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!     Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!   Pet Description:  Luna is nine-years old, 16 lbs, came to us because of a divorce.  Luna came to us heartworm positive & was in bad need of a dental, but we had her dental issues taken care of, got her spayed AND she has just completed her heartworm treatment as of 8-8-24.  Luna is a super sweet gal, very loving.  She is generally good with other dogs, BUT can be very bossy and jealous of other dogs (and over food/treats) once she is settled in so would be best as an only dog getting all the attention or maybe with one bigger than her.  We were told she is great with children, zero food issues with her and us humans and she is also good with cats.  And yes, she is housetrained.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).   The first step is to our Adoption Application here:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .   IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you.  Please make sure you have either added our email  (hselco@bellsouth.net)  to your contact list or that you routinely check your SPAM folder for our response just to be safe. If we do not receive a timely response we simply move on to another applicant.   To learn more about us, visit our Website at: http://www.elmorehumane.org;  Phone: (334) 567-3377 Fax: (334) 567-8774 E-mail: hselco@bellsouth.net August 17, 2024, 5:18 pm
