Meet Huey! He is an adorable 18 lbs, 10 year old dachshund mix looking for his retirement home! He is house and kennel trained, does great with other dogs who stay out of his business, and currently lives with teenage boys, but kids under 5 might be a little much for him. Huey loves to eat any food but his, snuggle on the couch, and supervise his foster dad during work from home days. If you want to meet Huey, please apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org! His adoption fee is $150.All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

TEXAS ADOPTION ONLY Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

They are a package deal, consider it a 2-for-1 special! Both have good energy and cannot stop wiggling their butts constantly! We are purebred dachshunds, with slightly different colored patches but all dachshund ALL the time! We are your standard dachshund size and have the temperament that would be great as a binge watching buddy, gaming friend or even a professional nappers (seriously we're that good.) Chico does have a seizure disorder that is controlled well with phenobarbital. His seizures were only about 1 a week but no one wants to let it happen so the meds were started and work GREAT! Local adoption fee is $300 for both of us (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area)

Here we are the CHIWEENIE brothers!! The FOUR brothers saved off the side of a country road when the rescue people were alerted to our condition by one of the local police officers. We are handily named AFTER the Four Brothers movie- Marky Mark, Tyrese , Garrett and Andre are all the most adorable low riders you have ever seen!! We have low long bodies and cute wild faces who beg for love and attention and real homes!! We were very shy at first but have broken OUT of our shells and are playful and happy and bouncing and crazy pups :) We are just babies now so will be likely under 20# full grown, we get along with all dogs and people and even though we had a horrible beginning to life, we are looking for the VERY BEST MIDDLE AND END!!
