Luigi-Beans, beans, Weej, beanie weenie, is 7 years old. He is 26 pounds of snuggle. While he is very affectionate and loving he is equally as sassy and opinionated. He would be best in a home without young children. We have a three year old and while he does tolerate her very well most days he is very vocal when he wants to be left alone. I believe he would be best with a home that has children older than 5. He does get along with other dogs but he is very jealous of “ his person” and does not like to share, same with children. He does have behavioral issues when being redirected, he will bare teeth but has never bitten. Beans is also food aggressive. He is potty trained and leash trained but he does pull on a leash. He likes walks but won’t make it far with his tiny legs and chunky frame. He loves scratches, pats and to snuggle up. A single person or a couple that could give him time, let him on the couch and a yard would make him very happy. We want what’s best for him.

A 13-week-old Dachshund Jack Russell Terrier mix puppy is ready to steal your heart. She's full of life and still learning the ropes of potty training. While she's great with adults and older children, we recommend a home without small kids due to her high energy level and small size. She’s still young, but she’s very confident so if you have other dogs they would have to be able to manage her energy, sass and sharp baby teeth. Daisy and Donut are 2 yrs old. The perfect age as they are all grown out of the puppy stages. They are both housebroken and just the sweetest lovable dogs. They are current on all vaccinations and preventatives and have been spayed and neutered. Daisy is a little more high energy but not excessive. She is wonderful especially if she has a chewy bone or toy. Not destructive, she just likes something to chew on. Donut is lower energy but still loves to chase a ball and play with his sibling. They both know sit and will shake when asked as well. Leash and kennel trained and will sleep in their kennel 8-9 hours with no problems. They are great dogs and their family does not want to give them up but they have had a coupled unexpected deaths in the family and unforeseen circumstances that make it unfair for these two as far as time and space. Their current family would love for them to go together and the adoption fees can be adjusted accordingly if we can find a spot together for them both. We will consider single applications if we can’t find a home together. Once adopted Daisy and Donut will will travel via private transport (transport cost is $165.00) to a location closest to you. Meet Glitter Intelligent, affectionate, adorable, and eager to please! I can be a little sensitive to touch from people I don't know very well. I like to take things slow and really get to know you before we get touchy-feely. When we are better friends, I love to snuggle up for some belly rubs and cuddles! I am looking for someone that has experience with food and resource guarding. Some of the MAS staff and volunteers have been helping me practice self control with positive reinforcement training. I am very motivated by food, so training is like a fun game for me! I need consistent structure to help me control myself. I have been making leaps and bounds of progress with my training and protocols and I am eager to please, I know several commands and release cues such as "come", "down", "bed", "sit", "look", "lets go", "yes", and "ok". Glitter is such a joy to get to know. She has such a sweet and silly personality, it's nearly impossible to not love her, she is like a little molasses cookie! Growing a bond with any dog, is special; but especially a dog you know has been through a lot. There is such a rewarding feeling, knowing for this dog, you made a difference. Glitter deserves a safe loving home to get a second chance to experience what a family is. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Romeo, oh such a suitable name for this goofy, loving dog. Romeo is a 9 year young Dachshund mix. He is great with other dogs and very sociable with humans. Very food motivated and he can hear the cheese wrapper from any distance. Romeo is looking for a permanent home, preferably one without stairs. The coordination in his rear legs is not perfect,but on flat ground he is as fast as the other dogs and he love to run and play wrestle. Romeo is not an early riser, he likes to sleep in on a soft bed close to the warm air vent. Romeo is incontinent. Romeo has limited bladder control. He leaks urine when his bladder is full. He walks as he pees and is unaware of this, he could wear doggie diapers but he would need to be trained to keep them on. Romeo will not be able to become 100% housebroken due to his neurological problem.** If Romeo is let out often he keeps clean inside most of the time.** Romeo loves his human with ALL his heart . He has lots of needs but lots of love to give. This guy is definitely worth the work. If you think you're that special person who can help Romeo and give him a forever home fill out an application.
