Story
Sweet Levi! Small dog! Dachshund mix maybe? 6-8 months old / 20lbs! Levi is the second of her litter who arrived this week from a shelter. Unfortunately they were marked urgent and all we jumped to save them, which isn't always an easy feat as we had to scramble for fosters and find transporters. Levi is a complete love bug and wants to follow his person around wherever they go. His favorite hobby is snuggling. He is very mellow and quiet for a puppy. He is building confidence with the leash and overall in general. He's also enjoying golf cart rides and being a part of a family. Adoption ready!! Fully vetted. rosierescue.org

Story
Meet Peanut! Peanut came to us along with 2 other senior dachshunds when their elderly owners house was hit by lightning and it sadly had to be condemned. He had no choice but to move and he couldn't take them with him. Peanut is ideally looking for a foster to adopt while we get some medical items like a much needed dental taken care of before adoption. If you are looking for your next senior dachshund, Peanuts wonderful and waiting! Thankfully he seems to get along well with everyone in his temp foster but could probably benefit from a low energy house. Please email laura@libbyandmacesplacerescue.org if you are interested in learning more about Peanut!  His adoption fee once his dental is taken care of will be $300. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and prevention.  August 19, 2024, 12:12 pm

Story
Meet Ollie! Ollie is a bouncy, happy go lucky 2.5 year old dachshund (maybe with a little something extra mixed in?)! He loves all his friends and loves his people even harder. He would love a doggy friend in his house to keep up with his antics and keep busy. He gets along great with dogs, cats and kids. His adoption fee is $300 and he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, prevention and heartworm negative. Story
Coco is the cutest little 12 year young dachshund. She came to us along with Peanut and Mouse when her owners house was struck by lightning and had to be condemned. She is going to take some time to adjust to a new home as her whole world was just turned upside down so a patient home is a must for this little girl. She needs to be in a home with other dogs as that is all she is used to. She gets along great with dogs of all sizes as well as cats. She does startle easily so a home with young children wouldn't be recommended. Coco does have an inguinal hernia that doesn't cause her any pain but at the recommendation of our vet due to her age we elected not to put her under anesthesia to repair. She has likely lived with it for a long time. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, prevention and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $250.
