TRIXIE came to our rescue with two other siblings from a Texas kill shelter. Her mom is a dachshund mix and we do not know what breed dad is but maybe it is a Jack Russel mix? She has the spots of a Dalmatian and a left eye “patch.” How cute can this be? She attracts attention when she walks around the neighborhood. Trixie is so precious and a sheer delight to foster. She is smart, loyal, and affectionate. Loves to play fetch. (Watch her video here). She's very excited about her morning walks but needs some more leash training. She enjoys the sunshine while out in the backyard, trying to chase a squirrel or two. But she is also "chill" by taking long naps and cuddling next to me. She follows me everywhere and wants to be close to her person. What is unusual about this puppy is that she waits to go outside before doing her “stuff.” I think she housetrained herself, as she is capable of waiting to be let out as part of her potty training. Trixie loves being indoors as well, following me around the house. But she shows no anxiety when I do leave the house on errands. Gives great kisses too with her puppy breath. She passed crate training (bedtime only), as she doesn’t whine at all and no messes. If I have room for another dog, I will personally adopt her. Trust me, she is unbelievably great!! We prefer homes with a secure fence and swimming pool, if you have one. I do not have a cat, so cannot tell you whether she gets along with one. Trixie’s adoption fee of $350 covers the vet exam, age-appropriate vaccines, medications, microchip, and a future spay.

Antonio was found as a stray and suffered multiple fractures which has left him paralyzed in his hind legs. Fortunately, this does not slow him down at all! Vets have cleared him medically! We understand caring for a paralyzed dog may seem daunting but Antonio has a wonderful routine and we will help you every step of the way! Caring for a paralyzed dog forms such an amazing bond and Antonio deserves to know that love and so do you! He LOVES other dogs and do better going home with one to burn some energy. June is a 7 year old basset mix. She is incredibly friendly, sweet and smart. Her lists of tricks are as long as her low rider body. She knows how to lay down, stand up, turn, roll over, speak, high five, shake along with many others such as go up stairs and get in your bed. She is crate trained and leash trained as well. She loves to play with her sister Addie who is a 11 lb 2 1/2 year old chiweenie that she is bonded with and must be rehomed with. They sleep together, play together and share all their toys. Addie is a shy, sensitive and tender little nugget. She's two and a half years old that has grown up with her older sister June. They are a bonded pair and must be rehomed together. Addie is housetrained, leash trained, knows jump up, come, lay down and a couple other commands. Not as many as her sister but she eagerly takes her lead from June. She is timid and takes a little bit of encouragement with new things, new people and a slow introduction to dogs. She is also very good with kids and very aware of the emotions in the room. If you are crying, she will come over to comfort you until you are giggling at her silly antics. She is often found on the back of furniture trying to get to the highest view and found watching tv.
