Story
Dixie is a wonderful family dog. She grew up on 30 acres but the last year she’s been in an 8x10 kennel because we’ve moved to the city. She always protected our property and kids. Especially when it came to snakes. She would put herself between the kid and snake and walk them back with her body. We did not train her to do this. She listens to basic demands. Sit, stay, up, lay down etc. We have a $800 retriever kennel for $400 and bark collar and training collar $100 each. If you want them. She could be an inside dog if trained. All her siblings are hunters. Came natural to them. Dixie has not hunted. Would need training but I know she would love it. Due to the move and family fast life we don’t have the time to give her that she needs.

Story
395 days later!! This fun-loving, energetic girl is STILL looking for her forever home! Merida is a German short-hair pointer mix with enough energy to power a small city . She has been with us since she was only 3-4 months old and is now over a year old. Merida gets along with other high-energy dogs but needs a proper introduction. As a German short-hair pointer mix, she is incredibly driven and smart. She needs a home that can meet her energy needs and give her all the affection she deserves. Can't foster or adopt? That's ok! Send her a toy or treat from our wishlist! She is a foodie! https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3EXJXYXZPOL7E... If you are interested in adopting or fostering Merida, please comment or DM!!
