Butterscotch definitely lives up to her name because she is sweet as can be! While shy at first meeting, she warms up and loves to come sit in her person's lap and absolutely adores belly rubs. She can be friendly with other dogs but is not a social butterfly. She is truly a people person and might prefer living as an only dog! Sweet Butterscotch already is potty trained, sleeps through the whole night, rarely barks and has shown no separation anxiety. She can however become overstimulated in an urban environment and would do best in a quiet (but active) home. Once Butterscotch warms up, she is super playful. She does have herding tendencies in her play, which means she can be mouthy. Butterscotch would do best in a home in a quieter environment, and ideally in a place where she can have room to play and get lots of exercise. She is the perfect travel sized dog coming in at around 20 pounds. This poor girl has had a bit of a ruff start to life so she first comes across a little timid and skittish, but once she comes out of her shell she is a complete sweetheart!

Little chunky charmers! The Mythical City pups are magical! Beautiful markings, and lovely personalities starting to show more and more as they hit six weeks age (and more). Everyone at the Milo Sanctuary is totally enamored of them! Each so different.... and all such a great mix of herders, working dogs, and love. Mom is such a sweetheart, and thought to be Kelpie and Cattledog mostly and by the looks of the pups, we believe Dad was mostly Catahoula. It's all educated guess work! Mom Ivy has been very good with her pups, she is very sweet, though very shy.

Olive is a 1 almost 2 year old loving dog who is good with kids! She would probably do good with another dog who is gentle and can show her how to relax and be comfortable. We got her from a coworker and she was a nervous dog from the start but got better with time. Recently she has been extra fearful and weird with people she lives with, to a point where it is not fair to her to live in fear and not leave her crate. The mood comes and goes but she is better at other family or friends house. I think she needs more structure and there might just be something about our house. She really is a good dog but this is just not the right fit for her. She would do best with a very patient family who can help her overcome this anxiety. It takes her a while to warm up but once she does she is in your lap! Focusing on her wellbeing we think it is best she goes to a different home. We just want her to go to a loving home she can thrive in.

Name is Butter. Born 2/16/23. She is a liver Dalmatian. She’s a good girl, she needs some training but she is still young so definitely not a concern. She is good with dogs, she barks at my cats but doesn’t hurt them, she is good with my kids(sometimes jumps on them with excitement). She is very loving and wants to cuddle up all the time unless she wants to play. She is semi house trained, she is crate trained but on a feeding schedule to help with fully training her. She is up to date on shots and was recently fixed. Giving her away because I just don’t have the time to give her the family and love she deserves after we were forced to move. My son also tested extremely allergic to dogs and keeping her separate from the family is just not ideal for her. We’re very sad to see her go but doing this for her long term life and knowing she needs an active family with a backyard and more time on their hands to be with her.

She is looking for a patient family who can offer plenty of love, treats, and a gradual introduction to an active and social life. Shelly's athletic nature and eagerness to please make her an excellent candidate for training classes and dog sports. She gets along well with other dogs, seeking affection in a gentle, non-pushy manner. Given her Pointer heritage, once Shelly is settled into her new home, she'll be an energetic and alert family companion who thrives on exercise and mental stimulation, yet can settle down nicely after activities. Shelly loves walks and hikes, enjoying the opportunity to explore at her own pace. She is ready for her forever home and is available to foster or adopt. Here is what Shelly's fosters had to say about her: "She take a little bit of time to warm up and trust you (for me and my kids this was a day or so, for my husband a bit longer) but she is incredibly sweet and wants to cuddle. She was fantastic with my boys - ages 8 and 11 - and really loved them too. We would crate her at night and when we left the house and she was a little hesitant to go into the crate (treats helped a lot!) but was fine once in there. She'd sleep through the night without a peep. Although she's strong, she doesn't pull on walks unless she sees a squirrel or something. She loves hiking and being in the outdoors so would be great for an active family. She is nervous getting into vehicles. I had to pick her up to get her in the car. But once she's in the car, she's quite good. We took her up to Tahoe with us and she did great on the back of our sub with our other dogs. She's about 90% potty trained. She wants to go outside but doesn't have the best cues to tell you she needs to go. She'll stand at the door but she doesn't bark or anything. Overall, she's a great snuggly dog who just wants to be loved. She needs a little extra time to warm up but is so great in so many ways."
