Story
If you're looking for a dog who will bring joy to every day, Snuffy is your guy! This super sweet, loving, and happy boy has stolen the hearts of our volunteers – and it’s easy to see why. At about a year old and weighing 64 pounds, Snuffy is the perfect adventure companion. He loves to play, run around, and is always ready to make you smile. He walks well on a leash (with a little bit of excited pulling – he’s just eager to explore!). Despite being found as a stray, Snuffy must have been loved at some point because he already knows "sit" like a pro. He is great with dogs and kids - cats are unknown. We originally thought Snuffy was a Wirehaired Pointer mix, but thanks to a generous volunteer who donated a DNA test, we got a big surprise! Snuffy is actually a unique mix of Dalmatian, Poodle, Golden Retriever, and a smidgen of Pittie. No wonder he’s such a special boy! If you’re ready to add a fun-loving, loyal companion to your life, Snuffy is waiting to meet you His adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee (if 4 months or older) for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
