Story
✨COSMIC✨This sweet boy is 2 months shy of a year and a half old. He is 50% Dalmatian and 50% mutt. Cosmic weighs around 70 pounds and is pretty tall. Cosmic is crate trained, potty trained and gets along with dogs of all sizes with a proper introduction. He is very good at playing with those that want to play and leaving those alone that do not. Cosmic has been around kids previously and has been just fine. He has had some exposure to cats and only shown curiosity towards them. Cosmic feeds off the vibe of the home. If the home is calm; he is calm and cuddly. He makes eye contact like he is trying to talk to you. ❤️ But if the home is energetic or even chaotic/anxious then Cosmic picks up on that and can start to mimic that through his behaviors. He does best with a calm, steady “pack” leader. He is slow to warm up to new people as his instinct is to protect his people - that’s the Dalmatian in him. Cosmic is fixed, microchipped, up to date on rabies, DHLPP and Bordatella vaccines, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting Cosmic please visit our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application. When applying, please answer each question completely and honestly. Only complete applications will be considered. Thank you for considering adopting!https://www.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-appwww.pawsofadamscounty.com

Story
Meet NALLA. Dalmation Amercian Stafforshire Cross. This Gal was on her last day to be euthanized when BARK ANIMAL RESCUE saved her from the INDIANA POLICE> Nalla had a young owner(17) who had had her from a puppy but did her no justice in two years. Kept her crated, not socialized at all really. With many people or dogs. She grew up with not much puppy life. She then was thrown into a new situation of living whree there were two dogs. One time put her in confrontation with one of the dogs when treats became involved and Nalla really hadnt been taught much if anything. She bit the ear of the one dog and she immediately was kicked to the curb. That is how she wound up with Police in lockup for ten days. That is how BARK ANIMAL RESCUE became involved to see if we could help her. It came down to the wire and they were going to end her life. BARK found a foster and got her there. She has been in foster 3 months. She is with other dogs in foster. She does not do well with other female dogs. Male dogs seem to be ok with her. THere are two in foster ONe is little older one is a 7 month puppy. She has had confrontations with the females in the household. She ultimaely would be great with no other dogs and her be the only one. The DIVA. Dalmations and Amercian Stafforshire Terriers are not two that should ahve been bred but it happens. So Now Miss Nalla is in need of a furever home. She take a bit to make up to new people strangers if you will ... She will play ball loves to play, bring ball back to you. She sits. She shakes. She is crate trained. She is housebroken. She has been around cats and is fine. She isn't great around chickens or rabbits. She has been fully vetted. Recently spayed. Everything that could be done. She is also microchipped. She requires an application. Fenced in yard would be good. She is pretty high energy. Loves to play. Adoption fee of 200 for her. Please contact BARK if you would be interested in NALLA. She will need a few meets because of not being very social. But once she is comfortable she is a big lover. Loves to sleep in the bed with her human.
