Story
Meet Matty Bing, a 2.5-year-old Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix with a heart as big as his soulful brown eyes! Weighing just 11 pounds, Matty is the perfect size for snuggles, which happen to be his favorite pastime. This calm and laid-back sweetheart adores belly rubs, car rides, and leisurely walks—making him an excellent companion for active adults who also enjoy quiet moments. His soft fur and gentle demeanor are sure to win you over in no time. Matty is fully potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s also perfectly content being left alone when you’re out, with no barking or destructive habits to worry about. While he may be a bit shy when meeting new people, Matty warms up with patience and care. Once he feels secure, his affectionate and loving personality truly shines. He gets along well with adults and small dogs and requires an adult-only home or one with teenagers and older family members. In the past, Matty has shown sensitivity to very young rambunctious children, which led to his over excitement and occasional nipping. However, with positive reinforcement and understanding, he has made great progress in learning appropriate behaviors. These moments are simply a reflection of his need for a calm and predictable environment where he feels safe and his boundaries respected. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion who knows how to balance fun and relaxation, Matty Bing is your guy! He’s ready to bring joy, cuddles, and plenty of belly rubs into the life of someone who will cherish him as much as he deserves. Could that be you?
