Story
Meet Imani! Imani is a 1 1/2-year-old Doberman-Rottweiler mix with a heart full of potential and love to give. Rescued from a local shelter's euthanasia list nearly a year ago, Imani has blossomed into a lively, affectionate, and active pup who enjoys exploring her boundaries. With clear and consistent communication, she learns quickly and thrives on structure. While Imani can be initially nervous or scared in new places or around unfamiliar noises, she gains confidence with an experienced handler who is willing to invest in her training. With the right guidance, she becomes more confident and will reward you with unwavering trust and respect in your partnership. Imani would do best in a home with another stable dog to show her the ropes and no cats. She isn't the biggest fan of small children but could acclimate to living with older kids if the adults in the home are committed to working with her and advocating for everyone's safety and comfort. If you have the experience, patience, and dedication to help Imani continue her journey, she will undoubtedly become a loyal and loving companion. Story
Bruce’s parents were both Doberman but were in a neglected home so they passed away. When we got Bruce he was very shy. He is a very good boy but he doesn’t do too well with toddlers and small children. He likes to rough play (like he would play with other dogs) and he is too bulky and large to play with my kids. Even if he is just walking by he constantly knocks my toddler over. He is very affectionate and likes to be right by your side. Bruce is 9 months old and has purposely not been fixed, we were waiting until he was at least a year old to help better his health according to what we read. We hope that he can find a loving home with older kids or adults who can handle a large breed dog and run him around like he likes. He is very affectionate so we know he will make another family a very good dog. Large bed, crate, collars, dog bowl, leash and food go with him to help with the rehoming.

Story
Einstein is a 4-year-old male Doberman who must be neutered before adoption.  He is an owner turn in because his energy level was too much for his elderly owner.  Einstein has the typical black and tan markings of a pure bred Doberman; but his ears are not cropped and his tail is not docked.  He weighs 98 pounds so he is an extra large dog.  Einstein is beyond active.  He would need a securely fenced yard where he can exercise; and he needs an owner who is experienced with large dogs.  Einstein is house trained.  He is so strong on a leash it takes a very strong person to manage him.  We would recommend he be an only pet--no other dogs or cats in the home.  We also recommend, due to his size and energy level, that he not be in a home with children.  Einstein is a very handsome dog.  He will be a challenge for his owner; and he needs an adopter who will be devoted to working with him.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  April 9, 2025, 6:29 pm
