Story
Delta’s story began in a neighborhood in El Paso, Texas, where the stray dog population was overwhelming, and sadly, some people were intentionally harming these vulnerable animals. When we heard about the heartbreaking loss of numerous dogs in the area, we knew we had to act. We hit the road to meet Delta and bring her to safety, and when we finally laid eyes on her, we couldn’t have been happier—or more relieved. Despite everything she’d endured, Delta greeted us with a wagging tail, a hint of playfulness, and a heart full of sweetness. This 8-month-old Doberman/Shepherd mix is a truly special soul. While she arrived a little shy, Delta’s silly and lovable personality began shining through quickly. Alongside her rescue friend, Dawn, Delta started a professional training program to help build her confidence, and she made incredible progress! We are truly blown away by how much she blossomed through training. Every day, she blossoms a little more, revealing her gentle spirit, loyalty, and joyful energy. Delta is bonded with her sister Dawn and they will be adopted out as a bonded pair. They are looking for a loving, patient home where they can feel safe and grow at their own pace. If you’re interested in learning more about Delta and Dawn, please submit an adoption application through our website at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications, and we’d be thrilled to set up a meet-and-greet. They can’t wait to meet you!

Story
Dawn’s story began in a neighborhood in El Paso, Texas, where the stray dog population was overwhelming, and sadly, some people were intentionally harming these vulnerable animals. When we heard about the heartbreaking loss of numerous dogs in the area, we knew we had to act. We hit the road to meet Dawn and bring her to safety. When we finally met Dawn, her timid eyes and cautious demeanor spoke volumes about the hardships she had faced. We gently loaded her and a few of her companions, into the car, and set off on the long road back to Arizona, knowing we were giving her a second chance at life. This 8-month-old Doberman/Shepherd mix is shy and reserved, but beneath her hesitation is a heart full of hope. Since arriving, Dawn has had professional training to help her build confidence and trust. She made amazing progress and continues to blow us away with how much she learned through her training. While she takes things slowly, each moment of progress reveals more of her gentle spirit and quiet resilience. Dawn is bonded with her sister Delta and they will be adopted out as a bonded pair. They are looking for a loving, patient home where they can feel safe and grow at their own pace. If you have a soft spot for gentle souls and want to see Dawn and Delta blossom in a home full of love, please submit an adoption application through our website at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. We’d love to arrange a meet-and-greet and help Dawn and Delta find the forever family she truly deserves.

Story
Hi there! I'm Cannoli, your soon-to-be best friend. Name: Cannoli Breed: Red Doberman Location: Central Arizona Animal Rescue Imagine this: a sleek, red Doberman with a heart as big as her paws. That's me, Cannoli! I was picked up as a stray with my buddy, and although my previous owners never came to claim me, I've kept my spirit high and my hopes even higher. Now, I'm ready for my forever home. Here are a few things you should know about me: Spayed & Vaccinated: I'm all set with my health check-ups, and I've been spayed so no unexpected surprises! Microchipped: You'll never have to worry about losing me—I'm chipped and ready to always find my way back to you. Trust-Building: I might be a bit shy at first, but with a few treats and some patience, I'll be glued to your side in no time. Leash Skills: I'm pretty good on a leash, so we'll enjoy plenty of walks and adventures together. Cats & House Training: My experience with cats and house training is a mystery, but with your love and guidance, I can learn anything! I may take a little time to trust, but once I do, I'm loyal for life. If you're looking for a loving, faithful companion who's been through a lot and deserves a warm, loving home, I might just be the dog for you. So, if you think you could be my forever human, e-mail Mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment to come down to Central Arizona Animal Rescue and meet me. Let's start our adventure together! With tail wags and hopeful eyes, **Cannoli** PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt.
