Story
Say hello to Nuka! This beautiful 10-month-old pup weighs in at 37lbs. She is a black and tan Doberman Pincher / Sheperd mix? Nuka is shy but sweet. She wants someone to give her the time she needs to blossom? She is affectionate and thinks she is a LAP DOG, she is not that big so why not? Nuka loves to play. She is still a puppy so please have lots of chew toys! Please have lots of time to spend with her: she does not like to be alone. Nuka walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides. Nuka knows the commands sit and stay. She is housetrained and uses the doggie door. She is scheduled to be spayed but we are looking for her home now. Please be a home owner with a securely fenced yard. This pretty girl is current on vaccinations and is micro-chipped. Nuka will be an awesome companion! If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link. Story
This beautiful dog is Star. She was born 11/18/20 and is a very nice girl. She weighs 68 pounds. Star's owners were moving and were unable to take her along so we need a new place for her. She has lived in a home with older kids and did well. She is social with dogs out here in play groups, but she may get possessive of her family and so may do better as an only dog. She enjoys a game of tug and fetch and has been through obedience classes. She knows how to sit, lay down, shake and drop it. She is already spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Star has a blood clotting disorder so it will just need to be noted in her vet file. They have medications to keep her safe that can be given in the event she ever needed surgery. Other than that, she is a fun, active girl who would love to sleep in the house on a comfy bed. $250.00 adoption. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
I acquired Kane from a lady that couldn’t keep him due to personal reasons. Kane is a very active dog and is too much for me to handle at my age. He needs a lot more attention than I am able to give him. Kane needs an active family that will exercise him daily and give him more training. He will be 2 years old on April 8, 2025, is up-to-date on his shots, comes with a wire crate and multiple fleece blankets. Kane has a beautiful black coat and dark rust markings.
