Story

Emma is a great dog she lives with a cat and a young kid and does great with both of them. She is a very active dog she always wants to play and run and loves a new toy almost as much as treats and bones. Some things she needs work on she like to chew, underwear and socks are a favorite so we try and keep them up and away. She also likes to pull on walks. This is very hard for us to do but we want a better life for her my husband is a lineman and works crazy hours and I work as well and we can’t give her the attention she deserves. If interested we can discuss rehoming fee I’m not concerned about the money though just want her to go to good home.

He was found abandoned at a camp ground and then was brought in at a rural shelter in Alabama. We were contacted by one of their volunteers to help save him. Echo truly is a shining star! He enjoys playing with other dogs, and he has a rough play style. He loves to fetch and if his ball rolls under the couch- he can usually get it without help. He is very athletic! He can jump high and climb things. He is working on his house manners and respecting what are toys and what are not toys. He needs to have strong leadership in his household and breed experience. He has come a long way with his leash manners and is doing well with heal, sit, down and stay. He will receive further training from DNA dog training upon placement in a home to ensure he has fully mastered all the basics and his new owners can confidently transition his skills. Echo is vibrant and always down for an adventure. He is approved at Downtown Doggie Center where he goes once a week to make new friends his play style and stayed overnight while his foster parents were out of town. He does need to be crated when he is not supervised as he still has big puppy curiosity. Echo is also very loving and will sit in his foster mom’s lap and give kisses. He enjoys pets and being told what a good boy he is. Echo will make his future family very happy! Dora is a Doberman Pitbull mix. She will be 8 years old on April 1st 2021, and was purchased through a seller on craigslist when she was still a puppy. Dora is a very energetic dog and can be very friendly when she gets to know you. Unfortunately, she has some behavioral issues that have gone unaddressed and, now with a toddler in our home, we are unable to provide the time, attention and training needed to address these issues. Although Dora is mostly house trained, she can still have accidents form time to time inside the home. Our biggest concerns are that she can be a bit sketchy around small children, new people, and tends to be overly aggressive (aggressive barking and pulls on leash) when seeing other dogs. She also has a tendency to growl and bare teeth when feeling she needs to protect her food or a toy. We are hoping to find someone with experience training dogs, or someone without small children or other dogs, who is able to provide the attention and care she needs.
