Story
Milo is 4 years old and we've had him since he was 8 weeks old. He is very sweet, silly, and loving. Currently he's in a home with two small children with friends in and out of the house. He's great with our children, but anxious with loud friends that he is unfamiliar with. He's had formal obedience training and is still good with his commands and walking on a leash. Although he does need exercise, he thoroughly enjoys cuddling and usually spends most of the day sleeping at your feet. He will climb into your lap if you want that. He is generally anxious with new people, but tends to warm up to most quickly. The best home for him is one that is active and outgoing without small children. He is extremely loving and it's hard to not fall in love with him. We're heartbroken to see him go, but our house is not the correct environment for him right now.

Story
Dancer Adoption Bio: Location: Green Cove Springs, Florida (Shep Rescue Camp) Adoption Requirements: No Rental Homes Must have Fenced in Yard Rescue & Health: This sweet girl was named Prancer Dancer because she arrived at Shep Camp a few weeks before Christmas, and when she is happy she prances like a Ballerina. She was picked up as a stray and was needing help the same time we took in Jingle Bell Shepherd. Dancer spayed, up to date on vaccinations, current on flea, tick, heartworm prevention, she is microchipped. Behavior: Dancer is truly an elegant, graceful girl. She loves to run and play, she especially loves to grab her favorite toy and snuggle up on the sofa next to her person. She is an absolute Joy. She is crate trained however she has had a few accidents in her crate I think this is only because she wants to be with someone all the time. Update since she has settled in she has no longer had any accidents in her crate. Dancer is high energy will need someone that is active and understands the Dobie Breed. Dancer is a silly, sweet, funny girl, I really adore her. She is good in the car, good on leash walks, good with the other dogs but can play rough with cats. Story
Special Sienna is ready for her new family and lucky the family that will call this precious girl their very own!! Don't let her look put you off! This girl is pure love and affection with some charming energy to toss into the mix. She wants nothing more than to snuggle on the sofa or bed with her people and run and wrestle with her doggie friends in the yard. She is an all-around delight and lucky the family who will call her their very own. We believe she is a Egyptian Pharaoh Hound and maybe Lab mix!! How to describe her? Sienna is silly, snuggly, sassy, smart and oh so very sweet!! She has totally blossomed in her foster home with her buddies, Dallas, Kenji and small boy! She adores sleeping on her fosters bed, going for car rides, running with her buddies, going for long daily walks but still pulls some so she will need continued leash training and wrestling with whomever wants to join in the fun. Sienna is very sweet and wants to be close to her people all the time if she's not playing and wrestling with their dogs, that is! She loves people but is a little shy when she first meets them until she realizes they are going to be kind and gentle with her. She loves, loves, loves to run so her new family must have a nice fenced. Although she loves to play, she is also very respectful if her foster dogs aren't interested at the moment. She loves sleeping in the human bed and snuggling on the sofa. She is completely housebroken and good in the house but does need to have appropriate chew toys available since she is still very much of a puppy. Sienna is always up for adventure, loves having a playful dog a dog companion, sweet, cuddly and always happy and loves belly rubs and will melt into your lap for snuggles!! Sienna is totally vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative, wormed and microchipped. Her new family must have a fenced yard, someone able to walk her daily, someone home much of the time and no children under 6. Want to make this perfect little girl part of your life then go to www.greatrescue.org to complete an adoption application or call 904-874-7689 or 904-501-6899 with questions. Sienna is a rare Egyptian breed and a Princess!!! .

Story
Meet Oswald, a gentle giant with a heart as big as his frame. This lovable fellow is believed to be a fun blend of Rhodesian Ridgeback and Great Dane, though it is his Ridgeback side that shines through most prominently. His coat boasts a striking red sable coloring, a rich blend of reddish- brown with distinctive black-tipped fur and a stunning face mask. Although he is a larger dog, Oswald exudes a certain grace that is a joy to watch. His eyes, large and inquisitive, reflect the kindness and intelligence that radiates from within. Oswald's affectionate nature is undeniable; he's quick to offer love and companionship to anyone and everyone he meets. While Oswald's size and exuberance may require a bit of understanding, especially with smaller children, his amiable nature makes him a wonderful companion for families with prior experience handling larger breeds. This delightful pup enjoys the companionship of other dogs, once they have been properly introduced. He has had some struggles with dog reactivity, but is doing great with training, and will only continue to improve with a consistent, patient, and strong owner. He has not spent much time inside around cats, but is comfortable seeing and walking near them while on outside. When it comes to care, Oswald is fine with a quiet day inside, but also loves to get out, whether it’s the beach or a local walking trail. On walks, he's a model of composure, walking wonderfully on leash and very responsive to corrections. In essence, Oswald is an absolute sweetheart just looking for his forever people. Story
Samantha | 1.5 years old | 70lbs Hey there, my name is Samantha, Sam for short! I was hand-picked by K9s For Warriors in October of 2024, and passed my initial testing with flying colors! I’m a lovable bundle of joy with a playful spirit and a heart full of affection. I love rolling around with my toys and eagerly bringing them to my favorite humans for a fun game of tug. I’m silly, smart, and very eager to please when it comes to preforming my basic cues. I’m sure to brighten every moment with my charming personality! I can easily be described as a social butterfly; every human is my friend. As for dogs, I have successfully made a few friends here and would be open to a friend that matches my energetic playstyle! I am crate trained, microchipped, up to date on my vaccines, familiar with most of my basics, and would love to continue learning with you! If you are considering adopting Samantha, we highly encourage you to reach out to set up a formal meet and greet. We look forward to hearing from you and hope we can help find your new furever friend!
